Well considering there's been official word by the devs through the Brawler corr I don't see that there's really any room for debate on does it work or not, they said they changed it and it doesn't work for anyone.

get tk or pikeman?

I tried lunge a bunch of times against low level stuff tonight. It did zero KDs. My other KD moves did KDs just fine.

I'm not sure if they totally took the KD out of it or just seriously cut back the percentage. I do know I used to use lunge preferentially as my KD move because it worked much more often than the other KDs I have... Maybe they decided it was working too well, tried to cut the percentage back a little, and hosed something?

Hmm lunge was never ment to kd ?, so now after how many years they say that?? thats BS look at the discriptions on the state attacks NONE of they do what it says so does that mean every single state special is broken or did they change it in CU and never bothered to update it.

I have many many new players asking me what each state does looking at the discription tells me nothing, i dont think any of them are right atm.

I think it is a combination -- as with the pre-CU game, a huge number of the CU states are just broken (they do nothing, work in reverse like armor break, which gets worse as you go up levels, etc). But I think on top of that, the devs have been unbelievably sloppy about changing special descriptions to match with the CU -- if the old description was anywhere close (e.g. dizzy) they seem to have just left it in place, which is lazy and poor on their part, IMO.

They caused a tremendous amount of ill-will by not properly DOCUMENTING all the new CU stuff, and then when we go out to use it, since it doesn't work like the "docs" they do have say, we think it's broken -- and there's really no way to know whether it is, or isn't.

Yes swordsmen don't get KD, but do TK get bleed attacks??

it's like complaining that TK don't get area attacks.

if u want a certain ability, learn the skill that get's it for you.

if u can't afford the points then unlearn something or just learn to live without it.

that's the whole reson behind having different proffesions if everyone could do everything what would be the point of different proffesions?
