Thread: Best way to kill another TKM?

This is what I do...

1)Strap on some70%+ kinetic resist ubese armor.

2) Get master doc and master dancer buffs.

3) Take some muon gold, drink some fishak, eat about 3 ryskate (or whatever its called).

4)During the fight, I would keep my health and action in sight, and pop on a stim B if necessary.

5) Go up to the TKM.

6) KD2 until it works, warcry until it works, (if the dizzy didnt work, I would use dizzy right now) then I would spam unarmed hit 3, if he stands up, I pop on a intimidate and try to lunge him to get him knock down again, and then start spamming unarmed hit 3.

If he lives through all that, and the 30 second timer was over, I would start again with the KD2 and work my way down the list again.

(If the TKM had doc buffs on and armor, I would spam head hits instead of unarmed hit 3.)

I have yet to lose a battle to another TKM. I hope this helps.

Only other profession that scares me as a TKM is a good Master Rifleman.

A. Doc buffs are you friend

B. Go find a bio engineer who can make +700 breath of heavens

C. Use your doctor buffs to go to the nightsister cave and find a mind poison nightsister lance

D. Use Kd2 and warcry and proceed to poison the living daylights out of the opposing tkm's mind.

This strat is for buffed tkms if they arent buffed at all including foods... strap on some 80% kinetic composite and throw a rope-a-dope at em... let em knock you down and proceed to kill themselves attempting to claw through your armor... get up and finish them up

Call me crazy but I find the best tactic is to keep the TKM's attention focused on me, that way my matecan sneak up and shoot them in the back.

If your warcry, stun, blind, intimidate doesn't work I'd go find a BE and get some of that put into your clothes find some good SEA's with +'s to them too.

I wouldn't try useing warcry 5 times in a row.. (same with other debuffs) use it once if it doesn't work then it looks like you're not useing warcry this round... combat between 2 tka doesn't last long enough to waste time spamming an attack that didn't work the first time.

Also... unarmed hit 2 does just as much dmg as unarmed hit 3 for about 40 points less. I wouldn't use uh2 if you knock them down though as it wont get near the dmg that uh3 will.

A good tip is don't just use your highest lvl attacks you can find some really good ones that where once your friend a long time ago.

Stun slows their rate of fire and screws up all sort of other things (Zabraks can't equilibrium when stunned).

I always try for the KD, but don't rely on it like 95% of TKs do. With master brawler, and+warcry/+intimidate clothing, the delay and intimidate work really well. Combine that with stun (which from what I've seen doubles their attack delay between hits) and even if they can last longer than the delay, they'll be at 25% of their normal PvP attack ability. Throw on a few dizzies, try for a KD once in awhile, and use UH2/headhit, no knucklers while wearing an 80% composite suit. If the KD sticks, then throw on the knucklers and knock them out quick.

My favorite thing to do in a duel is warcry, intimidate, KD, and shoot them in the head twice with my rifle. Quickest duel I had lasted a little more than 3 seconds, because I opened up with the KD instead of the delay and intimidate.

Get some + Int + Warcry clothing from a tailor/bio engineer, then you'll have a better chance of landing it. If that fails you have 2 options heal and let them spam kill themselves to death, or stun, blind. I know you think if it doesnt land its not worth it but the benefits outweigh the costs. Also dont rely on KD anymore its pretty worthless now unless your fighting a total dummy to pvp heh. I have a 70 Def to KD and am rarely if ever put on my back, but with a 98 Equilibrium im on my feet in less in a second after KD. Not to mention I know people that have devoted there chars to 100 KD def for pvp.

i'll tell you why you can't beat them, your strategy sucks. my strategy, beknownst now, is to warcry the first place. i have a shirt that is +11 warcry and intimidate, this freezes them for 10 seconds, then i knock them down, or hit kd 2 until they are down, then i pinpoint the weakest pool, usually the mind so no one can cure them even if they have even stats, and use that. i have never had a problem unless i get kd when warcry fails, and that is a very rare occassion, i have taken out master fencers, buffed master fencers, tk, never a buffed tk master, with minimal opposistion. can someone explain to me with detail what the heck intimidation does. i have never been able to pin point its importance.
