Great, so now more people can jump on the band wagon and at an even quicker pace. I miss the days when TKM sucked and being actually showed that someone had patience and perserverence to persue a profession they enjoyed, not because it was uber or because of holocrons, but because they liked the profession plain and simple. But alas those days are gone and its now the time of the l33t boi.

0/0/4/2 can easily solo multiple rancors with buffs and 73% ubese. get in a group, i gett 5k xp each time, go to rancor valley and let loose, got entire meditation line in maybe 4-5 hours, only died once.

Yeah... that makes a lot of sense. Everyone profession must suck so that the people who play must be "patient" and have "perserverence". It's a game, why should you have to do something that isn't a hell of a lot of fun.

"But alas those days are gone and its now the time of the l33t boi."

Please. You act as if you were the one to discover TKM on your own, offended by the fact other people are enjoying it, yet mastering it in one swoop. Sorry, but Unarmed1 through TKN required a lot of patients, especially for those who didn't use knucklers. Let me guess, you've got fencer for def stacking? Thought so. Who's the "l33t boi" ? How about the rifleman who use jawa ion rifles or the MBH's that spam eye shot? I don't see you moaning and groaning on their boards.

I didn't master TKA because a holo told me to. I mastered TKA because I knew it was a good, fun, and challenging profession. I like the idea of being able to tank, saving people's lives on large hunts. TKA's are as much as a tool as medics are on hunts. I'm a distraction but can actually dish out damage if a nightsister happens to run up on a pistoleer. I don't wear my TKM tag. If someone wants to know what professions I've mastered since badges have existed, then they can /examine me. The days of the "l33t boi" and those who whine reguarding such are coming to an end.

In reguards to people complaining about TKA's at tusken... Well, they can go fly a kite. Both TKAs and Commandos get yelled at constantly. Even so, those same xp "hogging" players save a lot of lives once the death spawn hits. Have no doubt, whether your a TKM or TKN, you will need help at some point. Just the same - any other player will too. I would rather see 3-4 TKA's tanking in the tunnels, then the majority of large pets people use as tanks.

Agreed. I spent a *ton* of time at fort tusken a month or two ago grinding both TKM and the pistol xp for smuggler. Two things I noticed - when grouped I got 3x-4x more xp per kill as a TK then I did with a pistol - TK novice is just that much faster at handing out the damage then most other novice professions that you see running around there. Also, though I ran through the fort no matter what level the spawn was at a certain point Tusken Commoners and the like just weren't worth the few hundred xp i'd get for a clean kill to bother "stealing" them from the other folks there so most of the time I laid off of them.

And on the original post & the emphasis on meditation - as a wookie without the ability to run around in full composite - both powerboost and the ability to wound heal are a must. I'd walk in and 2 minutes later have a few hundred strength wounds, and often found myself with secondaries at 1/1 without much effort. I went 014x then ran up the med line but looking back I probably should have just gone up med a box or two earlier. At least as far as powerboost which helped a ton to prevent at least some of the one hit kills from elites on the other side of walls :/
