Thread: Grinding to TKA
This is for when you hit tk novice......
1. Get some speed sliced VK's.
2. Some kinetic ubese armor (I use 56%, since that is good for TC.
)
3. Go to endor and do crazed gurreck missions. Why crazed gurrecks? Here's why:
Stats: Ham: 5k
Specials: dizzy, stun
Resists/Armor: No armor, 15% kinetic
The missions are in the 59xx to 61xx cred range. Theya re lvl 40 missions. there are 9 per lair (usually no mroe than 2 babies). They area aggro and they DB. Now, why you hunt them....
Since they have 5k hams, you can take them down a lot faster than pikets. =) When grouped, they give 3600 xp each, and 4k for the lair. You can easily get 32k -36k unarmed xp a lair. Even at novice, you can do 4 missions an hour. At 2100, you can do maybe 5 an hour. At 2132, you can do 6+. Even at novie, that is 140k+ xp an hour! That is almost 1 skill box!
Now, the main reason why you hunt them......even though they are aggro, they DO NOT DB! Also, their aggro radius is riduculously small (15 - 20m). At novice, you can clear out a lair in 15 mins. At med 2, you can go longer, since you have less down time. At 2132 (me right now.
), you can easily finish off the alir and all of the spawns before PB fails. ![]()
I have explore 4, and the only time that I have ever gotten more than one on me, it was because I made the mistake of not reapplying mask scent before I bleed the lair.
My reccommendation for lvling.......
Use stun to open up to reduce their damage and speed, then auto to get them down, and UAH2 to finish them.
At balance 1, do the same, but KD them when they get to about 1200 ham left, to keep them from running, then UAH2 to finish.
At power 2 and up, you can use the above tactic, but no need to UAH2. You attack fast enough now. >=)
Hope that this helps!

Boy did I! Holy crap is it a boost. I squeeled with school-girlish glee when I took on my first MOB after training Novice.
First thing I encountered was a pack of Jabba's Swoopers - 5 of them. It was like a Bruce Lee movie - thwack (first one down), whup (there goes #2), whack (bye-bye #3), twenk (another one down), thwackthwackthwack (area clear.)
Seeing my first hit for 1130-odd damage made my eyes almost pop out of their sockets...

"HAHA, This is great, everyone is talking about Ubese armor costing 150k for 70% effect. I bought some on Lok, that was 76& and i bought it for 78k, unsliced, full set. Holla back haha."
Well yeah ubese with70% plus isnormally around 90-100k on chimaera but sincehigh quality wooly hide became unavailable you simply couldn't find the armour OR the pricegot ramped up.
