I used to play 3 to 4 hours a day, and non stop on weekends. Lately, I'm lucky if I log in for an hour once a week. The game is just not fun anymore.

Dont worry Wulfgarin. All you have to do is contact a service rep that works for the company or bank who issued you your credit card and file a complaint.

If you have not already paid for the SWG service yet then dont paySOE's fee and then file a complaint with the company or bank who has issued you your credit card and tell themwhy your not paying SOE's fee.

I played for 30 mins after the patch. I can't bring myself to login my useless charachter. If the devs take too long in fixing us, maybe I will just cancel my sub and move on. I am losing interest fast. Eq managed to hold my attention for four years, but Sony is really messing up on this one.

I only play games on the weekends. I gota rude awakening last night when I got home to work. My TKA 1/2/3/2 is now completely worthless. I was in a group of 10 or so and I found that I couldn't kill a thing. I was used to being the center of a group and keeping everyone alive ( I have 2 Grand Wrixes as well ). Now, I can't even keep myself alive. I died at least 5 times last night, sepnd most of my time running from mob, or back to the group from the cloning facility.

I'd normally be playing all day on the weekends, but its 8:40 PM and I haven't logged in yet. I just haven't got the courage to play. I think its because I REALLY want to like this game, but I know deep down that this game blows. Its sad to see that the developers are removing all the fun aspects of the game for me. I wish my friends didn't play, because then I'd have no problems just quiting.

I wish the developers wouldn't ruin TKAs. I've had lots of fun playing one, but I'm afraid that fun is over. I wish I knew why the developers did this to us as well.

Well I cancelled today. I really just can't find slow boring hard exp fun.

Well, slow boring hard exp isn't so bad as long as there's light at the end of the tunnel. Unfortunately in TK's case there isn't =(. It's the masters who find themselves gimped beyond all recognition that really kills the profession.

Good case in point is Pikemen. They have a long, viciously hard climb to master - but once there, most say they wouldn't trade it for any profession in the game.

I'm playing less and less as well. TK master and almost master CHand I can barely take on blue cons. Now with the CH nerf..pets perm die in PVP. Is this supposed to be fun?

I spend 45 min running to one of the new fight areas last night only to die to a single even con mob right before getting there....45 min. Once I get there, 2 light blue con ranged users take me out in 20 seconds...yes..I was grouped with a friendand had pets. Am I supposed to have fun running again for 45 min to get back to this area?...praying I don't agro a blue con mob because I'm to much of a gimp to take it?

I joined a PVP faction battle last night and died 5 times...not killing a single aggressor. I could havehidden behind or within a building and watched the event, I suppose, hoping some sucker would walk in (I have yet to find anyone this dumb) but what fun is this? I ran into battle hoping to get close enough to attack someone but always got "your target is out of range" even when standing on them. Melee are just pathetic in the PVP arena. Is it fun to be the clown that's cannon fodder? Is it fun spending 30-40 minutes on a quest to get to the finishing stage only to have that quest be broken?...I just don't see the fun anymore to the game.

It just isn't any fun being a master in an elite class that is truly pathetic at both the PVP and PVE game.

I started a Pikeman on Flurry now because I can't get the motivation to log onto my TK. And now I don't even have the motivation to play him because I'm so disturbed with what has been done to my TK (if it happened to one class, what's to stop it from happening to another?). I was going to give EQ 2 a crack but because of the crap I've been force fed in this game I won't be trying eq 2, as I refuse to give them anymore of my money.

It's a **edit** shame too. It could have been such an awesome game...

You have to admit, most TKA players are (or were) enamored with the combatcomplexity their profession provided. Combat as a TKA has always involved more than just KD (who spammed KD? Who?). With the TKA arsenal of (somewhat useless) cominations and special moves, and the surefire fact that you were GOING TO GET HIT (and take damage), it was always interesting to fight something new, if only to see how well you fared.As a TKA, you go into combat knowing you are going to get hit and that you need to exploit the mob's weaknesses if you want to survive.

Let's face it: we don't want to log in and play, because we don't want to play a boring ranged profession. Auto-target, attack, spamwarning shot/low blow (or some other over-powered ranged move), run away .... and repeat .... ad nauseum.

Gee, that's challenging.

I think, as TKA players, we've becomemore interested in the challenge ofcombat. Ranged players have no challenge. (Sorry,pistol-people. It's how I feel at the moment). I mean, really... where's theconcern of dyingwhen you can 'kite'huge creatures---like Torturs---for hours at a time, solo,earning excessive amounts of XP .... all with little or no damage. I mean, I can do this with a crappy FWG5 and not even get TOUCHED.

And the dev's talk about game balance.

Maybe if ranged professions weren't so over-powered and .... um ... boring to use ... we'd want to log in and play. Who knows? I've been trying to gain Smuggling skills lately, until they FIX the TKA profession. It's a struggle to even pickup the pistol most of the time. It reminds me of all of the easy, mindless time I spent as a Druid in EQ .... all I did in that game was solo, because it was just too freakin' easy. The same goes for SWG's ranged professions. Now don't get me wrong: I don't think the ranged professions need to be nerfed or anything. Well, maybe some skills are ridiculous (*cough* pistol whip *cough*). It just doesn't surprise me that former TKA players don't want to play this game while the profession is currently F*U*B*A*R.

Yeah I hate to admit it but started a little 2h swordsman today to idel away some time. No comment on whether it's good or not as I am not far enough in to see =)

Really stinks starting all over again though - but I refuse to change my master tka's profession only to have them decide 5 mins later that they are going to de-nerf us.

For the person playing his pikeman - I really hope SOE leaves them the hell alone... read more of their issues and their accuracy problems are horrendous. If they get their kd nerfed as well they are deader than us.

Melee is much more fun than ranged for me, but starting over isn't =( And as we all keep thinking, what's the point - if we start to have fun with any other melee class they'll be sure to put a stop to that.

I dropped all my knucklers in my house so that it would not infuriate me when I put them on. I now exclusively carry a rifle. Despite the 2.5x melee damage I take I am still content with it. If they do not fix the TKA in the next big patch I am definately going to drop all my skills in it (master atm). It's pretty sad what they did to us.

Accuracy in relation to range in SWG:
Rifle: max |+++--------------------------------| min
Carbine: max |----+++++++++++++----| min
Pistol: max |+++++++++++++++++++| min

SOE could argue that you owe the money, because they do not refund partial subscriptions, as stated in the Terms of Service agreement you sign every time you play.

I did the same thing with Anarchy Online. Started off with 6 month sub (what a DEAL I thought) and quickly regretted it.

I did not, however, make the same mistake this time.

I, like all of you, came home excited about playing. But now I really have no desire to play. It's just not fun any more.

Subscription: Cancelled until they fix Commando's and Teras Kasi
