My being useless is not false data! I used to love to see the cool red orange trails that were madeby my strong character when he preformed special moves but now I miss seeing those red orange trails because I cant afford to make those special moves with out killing my self and when I do make special moves like blind, dizzy, stun and berserk (I dont use VKs nor did I use VKs in pre patch when I made special moves) but now I can only make2-3 KDs with out VKs and no time to look for those cool red orange trails that the KD special moves make because I am too busy keeping an eye on my HAM bars! That is not false data!
Doyou think being quite and only taking the time togive factswith reps and devs who probably want to nerf your characters profession will care if your calm and to the point? Being quite would be doing them a favor because it allows them to better ignore us!

if we are paying for this then we have a right to voice our issues with the product....
the main beef on the board isnt how you voice your own concerns but how you belittle others and place yourself on a higher plane while doing it....yes that is human...its just "stupid human"-----> hince the flaming...

When I am fighting off a mob of 3 blue cons alone I cant afford to invest HAM points in special moves because I need every point on my HAM bars to stay alive.
And yes they did raise the points on the lesser cruddy pecial moves like blind, stun and dizzy although it is not in any way as high as KD.
No offense Selwynn, but.... There is a reason that everyone takes offense to nearly all your posts and always have some sort of rebuttle. Your views are not any less valuable but people do have a right to their opinion and only a handful of your posts have been constructive up to this point. Most of your posts simply flame someone else and you seem to think that sayin at the top of all your posts "this is not intended to be a flame", makes us feel any better about it. I appreciate your POV but out of all your posts you rarely take anybody else's posts seriously but simply tell us that we aren't playing the game properly. This is an RPG, meant to be infinitely customizable. If there is only one way to handle a situation, as you seem to settle for, then we no longer have customization, but instead uniformity. If we want that we should all just go play a first person shooter where all characters are the same and only choice of weapon matter. Please just allow others to have opinions too without always making them feel that your way is the best way and that anybody not doing it your way simply aren't playing the game properly.

I'm not so sure about this one. Frequently, these special attacks fail ... repeatedly ... causing you to either a) try again, and thus loose even more HAM, or b) stop trying to use your 'debuffs' (arguably the TKA's only strength at this point) and pray that you can keep healing yourself until the mob is dead. (Note the express need of medic skills.)
On the occasion that these special combos actually work--sure, they can be useful. Against high-end mobs, though, that can sometimes be very rare indeed.
Before the patch I was able to take on 3 valorian's thugs at one time with no problem and now post patch I cant take on 3 valorian's thugs without most of my HAM bar gone and I am not even doing any special moves!

Secondly, basically nothing of the things said against me are the real issue. The real issue is not that I come of the wrong way. The real issue is I have an unpopular opinion, and its ok for others to post as much as they want as long as it is the opinion of the majority. It's ok to post saying the same thing over and over again as long as it is the opinion of the masses. What it is NOT ok to do is raise questions about the validity of a mass opinon or hold a minority opinon. That's the real crime here.
Now that's not to say that all people would love me if I shared the majority opinon, I'm sure some people wouldn't like my posts simply on spec - not liking the way I write, how much I say or how I express myself, etc. But that's not the biggest problem. The real problem is I hold an unpopular opinon and stating it as unashamedly as I do doesn't earn me friends.
But here's the thing: I don't care, and I have every bit as much right to post as anyone else.
I do think that there are problems with TKs - look at Thunderwulf's issue list; I pretty much agree with all of his points. But what I don't agree with is false information, and if a post is made on a discussion board. and any other person disagrees, he or she should feel free to respond and ask for evidence, challenge the person to defend their claim, etc. Everyone should be free to do that whenever an wherever they want, or else why even have a discussion board?
That said, I'm about to make a post that I hope will put people's minds at greater ease. You might, perhaps, even think it was rather big of me. Or mabye not, it matters little to me.

At the moment I am training expert teras kasi and it costs me 212-221 for KD with out VK so even useing KD 3 times with out VK only helps my target kill me.

frankly i dont care what your opinion is and i doubt i would "love" you b/c of it....this is a msg board and i am having enough fun flaming you w/o having to kno you....

Actually, it seems to me that the real issue not so much that you have an unpopular opinion ... it's that you have an unpopular way of presenting it.
Most of the people contributing to these forums are railing against SOE's methodical vivisection of the TKA profession. In doing so, many people have become aggressive and outpoken, but in a generalized, "I hate SOE" sort of way. Sure, that's probably not the best thing to do, nor the best way to present one's self as a person with a legitimate concern ... but, at least, it's a gripe that is voicedagainst a generalized entity: in this case, SOE/the devs.
Many of your posts, on the other hand, seem to have atone that 'talks down' (on a personal level ) to many of the people whom you simplyconsider 'whiners'. It is this sanctimonious, personalized tone that many people have a problem with. Again, it's not that your opinions are unpopular, it's that you choose to believe that your own opinions are better than others. By calling people 'whiners', you implicitly set up an argument of your own that says, "These peoplecan't possibly know what they're talking about, right?" ... and then you sit back and wonder why the argument has turned into a person attack against you.
Anway ... I have no 'beef' with you, Sel.This is just my 'whiner-boy' observation. Take it for what it's worth.
