well the harpoon would be more along the lines of a pikeman but everything else sounds great! while were at it, I want a bite abilty. my trandoshans teeth look like they could do some damage....all crooked and pointy.

No way, I want Kung Lao's finishing move from MK II, just using my VK instead of a razor rimmed hat...that still has to rank as one of the goriest finishes...split in half with bone fragments sticking out, blood, guts...oh yeah,THAT was a finishing move. Tho Subzero's finisher was definitely respectable Oh, and commandos with flamethrowers could do Scorpion's finisher

he why can't we catch blaster bolts with our teeths or does any remember the avengers (john steed and emma peel) episode there was a guy that could defend himself against a machinegun by deflecting the bullets with his bare hands (remember were are called steel hand or was it stone) was funny exspecialy the rookies of his art tried this too .... ok i need a new rookie but the shield idea is more for fencer ...

i agree TKA is master of unarmed, meaning fists, but also i still like the VK cuz otherwise wed die every time from not doing enough dmg, but i say leave it at VK or your gona get ppl complaining and they will nerf us some how.........

People you got the vibro shield idea out of proportion. In the Novel shaterpoint, this shield were used as weapons more than shield. The thing is that they could deflect blasters. They in no way were huge rounded disks or anything like it. Vibro shields from whatI gather were not much bigger than a fist (but i guess Ill have to read it again and write the passage that describes them).W hen not in use they, this VS would move up from the hands u to the fore arm (dont remember exactly how). All i do remember is that they were mean weapons and could pierce just about anything and deflect blasters, and the people using them were rather primitive and they used some sort of unarmed combat (their only weapon being the vibro shield).

Another thought: being a participant of martial arts myself, i thing the TKA line was made all wrong. TKA should be what a master brawler is. In all martial arts, at least the traditional ones; one learns not only unarmed combat but also armed combat. A lot of times armed combat is what gives the finnese and technique to develop the unarmed one. For example Saholin monks (practitioners of Shaolin Tzu KEmpo one of the oldest styles of martial arts also known as chinese boxing) practice not only unarmed combat but also practice with one handed swords, two handed swords and stafs. So you have all of the melee branches of the Brawler class. And this is only one of the martial arts, there are still many others and they all include weapons.

For me Brawler should be a clas of its own: perhaps it should be unarmed with some, street fighting and dirty fighting, perhaps even drunken master fighting (good for cantinas).
