Thread: ForceOfWill BUGGED
if it doesnt work nothing happens you are still incapped as if you never even tried using it.
has not dropped me to 1/1/1 and kept me incapped yet.
Lets Recap
There are 3 outcomes to using forceOfWill
1) it fails due to percent failure, and you get the "you were unable to stay focused" message. Nothing wrong with this
2) You pass the "percentage" check, but had woundsat the timeof attempting so you are still incapacitated, and loose life on each bar. (your life for each bar is now 10 minus the number of wounds you had on that bar)
3) you pass the "percentage" check, and had no wounds when attempting, you stand up with 10/10/10
oops... 1 and 3 are correct functionality, use case 2 is where the bug lies. success at FOW should be coded to give you 10 life on each bar irregardless of wounds. currently it is giving you 10 minus the number of wounds.
I know i failed like 10 times in a row then succeded 2 times, then failed a few and succeeded one or 2 times more... would be nice if we knew what the supposed percent was, and also i think it should be more like 60-70% success at master TKA.

If Force of Will does exactly what it's supposed to do as of now, then it's almost as worthless a skill as power boost used to be.
Why would anyone, ANYONE get up from incap early just to be incapped again instantaneously?
Completely illogical.

Gawd so many tards play swg, try flexing that thing between your ears.
In response to force of will, yes it is bugged atm. As for ppl who wonder why we would use it?, obviously your ignorance of this game shines through.

That actually sounds close to how it does seem to work.
A few times had no #2 occur and timer was reduced to 10 seconds, before I could get up.
When no #3 occurs even though no hams, at least you usually lose agro and can run and regenerate away from the battle. Unless you run into more hostiles while trying to get away like I usually do.
And #1 still seems to occur far to frequently for me. Usually always against something I know is going to DB me and does.
Would be nice if we could get an 'official' word on how Force Of Will is supposed to work, rather than just 'it allows you to stand from incap'
Don't post if you don't know what it does
Well, then by your logic, this thread should be empty except for a post made by our correspondant containing nothing but a quote from the teras kasi developer. not a single one of us actually know what it really does. all we can do is look at the evidence and make a guess.
i was simply posting my opinion of what i think it does, based on my limited observations of success. i even admitted that i wasn't sure. it was a guess. if, like you said, it causes people to get up immediately from incap, then there wouldn't be a thread called 'ForceOfWIll BUGGED' now would there? the fact is that it's NOT causing you to get up immediately from incap, and that's why we are discussing this in the first place.
i could see you having a justified attitude problem towards me if my post was something like 'god you noob, it obviously does this ... but i could be wrong' but no, i stated my opinion in a professional manner. so get off my back.
i haven't noticed it myself, but anything that affects stats is really screwy now.
spice permabugs characters--even after death.
spice downers can incap you, even if you have enough mind/focus/will to accomodate the downer.
powerboost does crazy stuff when combined with doctor buffs and always incaps me if it wears off during a spice downer (even if i STILL have enough mind/focus/will to not be incapped).
i've had my incap timer reset repeatedly from 103s back to 109 for a good 5 minutes following a failed force of will.
spice addicts are getting more wounds in their focus/will than they have stat points--if a related effect happened to the HAM of someone who was using force of will, strange things might occur.
i wouldn't be suprised.
of course, are you sure you weren't knocked down at the time
