For servers with no Auxite iron that is a very good price as noone can make it.
IMO 70k is very easy to get in this game. A few nights of even doing solo 2k missions and you have 70k. A lot faster if you can do higher ones.

I wouldn't know. But after I witnessed the death of my composite suit after 5 DB's in 3 days, I'm not carrying armor with me again. I was going to get engineered clothing, but they're expensive and will decay as well. I tried insurance, but my stuff still fell apart. I'm so disenchanted.

Not sure why you'd get composite with that high of kinetic. Kind of the lazy approach IMO =P. Ubse is much lighter than heavily layered composite, and can get the same kinetic resist. Get your comp for pvp, and ubese for pve. Then instead of wasting that 80% on kinetic for your composite use it on acid.
