lol its about 1k from the main town on talus....if you ever been to talus, just running around as a noob killing lowbie mobs, and you would have probably stumbled into it

lol I've been hunting on Talus for days ever since I hit novice TKA (I love Talus), and I didn't even see it.

I think I'll have a look tonight. Thanks for the info everyone.

Did you get those things from looting the bodies or from the containers (I am not a smuggler so could bot open em). I went there and I feel I should get a T-Shirt that says "I cleaned out the Ak'kauran Cave and all I got was this CDEF rifle!".

looted off bodies and yeah i got the cdef rifle too

Im in the cave now and these guys are nothin once u knock them down its sooooo fun and great xp im yet to see an item but hey thats ok im getting better xp than ever!

I jus looted somthing none of you mentioned...its a Shirt...with +10 bleed it has the aakuan name on it.

Don't have to be a slicer to open the containers, just clear the cave completely..

nope to open them you have to be a slicer ive cleared the cave 8 times....i jus looted this stuff off the npc's

Went back today to see if I could get another one of them niffty CDEF rifles . No luck. But I did get a ring (+5 ranged defense), a couple of armor attachments, and a lance.

Someone showed up right at the end when I was clearing out the last three bad guys and after we killed those Igave him a skill attachment (rifle aiming +5, I think) and he gave me a Robe of Poision Resist +5. Think I will go back in a couple of days and see if I can find me a belt.

Still would have liked to have gotten me another CDEF rifle though.

fyi you cannot slice magseal containers, or grab what's inside them (the cave one's anyway)...i've tried many times. there's a time limit on the magseals, like 2 hrs i think.

and this cave (although lacking in design since it looks like all the rest) is very cool

+10 bleed resist shirt and +5 ranged def ring is what i got in there

I have 3 of those disease resist +10 belts if anyone's interested. And have found a few of those bleed resist shirts too. You usually only need to clear the cave out twice or so completely to loot some of these items...though the place is getting more crowded as word spreads. The respawn time sucks, about 30 minutes or so, but it's still a great place for exp and loot. Found a cdef with mind poison and 10k uses or something...
