Well being the oldest TKM on Bria and possibly the game now due to hologrinding. Im throwing in my hat and giving it a shot. Now with that being said, there are somethings that you will probably have to understand. The correspondant is not the voice that will change the profession. That job resides on our communitcations with the correspondant and in turn his/her communication with the devs. Not to say that anything or everything will get put into the revamp. We do have some slight issues with some slight bugs. I do not know how the revamp will change our profession but its upcoming and ill be on the TC when it gets there to try out everything I can to see where we stand.

I havent posted on this particular forum in a long while. Mainly because I felt that the flames and trolling was getting out of hand. I have my own visions about how Teras Kasi should be, however im not here for me. Im here to be your voice in the storm. If im selected that is.

If accepted I will keep you as informed as Im allowed to. And I will frequent the forums to answer your questions directly about us and us vs. other professions.

I've thrown my hat into the ring for TKA correspondant.

One of the few professions in SWG that has a lot of history, one of the most fun professions there is in this game, and it's just a great profession all around.

Do we have any idea what the time-frame is for the Devs selecting the new correspondent? Just curious....

It appears that we have a lot of people interested in this position. Its too bad more people can't be selected as I am sure people with the dedication and interest willing to step up and takeon this job would represent our profession well. Even though only one person can be chosen I would like to suggest that those of us with a special interest be sure that we give the one chosen the very best we can. It will be a long roadahead of us to get some issues for our profession addressed and we need to work as a community, fully supporting and interacting with the new correspondent as best we can. Personally I would have loved to take the spot but with work and college I don't feel that it is fair of me to even knowing that I have these other considerations, but I look forward to contributing my opinions, ideas, and experience to our new correspondent and I hope everyone else will do the same.

My guess is sometime next week(hopefully), once the Devs return.

They didn't want to invite us because they know we'd have stormed the SOE Booth, locked door or not, and gotten everyone the long-awaited SE news

Correspondents Selectedfficeffice" />

After returning from E3, I was eager to choose the correspondents. Again, I have been totally amazed at how many great candidate letters came in. Our community is full of very intelligent, very thoughtful people who have a passion for this game and this community and the quality of people here is just awesome.

In the case of each correspondent position, it was a very, very difficult choice. I actually spent much of the afternoon lurking through everyone’s posts, re-reading letters and lurking again. For those of you that were not selected please don’t be discouraged. It surely wasn’t personal. In many respects, they were difficult decisions, because so many of you are more than qualified to act as representatives for your communities. Another thing that is helpful to keep in mind is that the correspondent program isn’t on an automatic term limitation, but real-life activities and other variables have caused most positions to last about 60-90 days. Some are longer and some are shorter, but there will always be an opportunity to climb into the saddle.

Many thanks to all of you who took the time to write me fantastic candidacy letters and curse you for making it such a difficult decision Most importantly, kudos to each and every one of you for being a part of this great community.

Those that were chosen are listed below. I’ve sent out acceptance letters and we’ll get them upgraded to correspondent status as quickly as possible.

Congratulations to:

Bio Engineer Correspondent: NancyJ

Brawler Correspondent: Mapai

Medic Correspondent: MasterNerfSlayer

Politician Correspondent: Pappi

Squad Leader Correspondent: Irott

Teras Kasi Correspondent: DrArgule

Please welcome them aboard!
