I wouldn't waste a NS motor on a VK! NS motors are a necessary component in Energy Lances, therefore they a worth A LOT! And NS motors are a very rare drop.

But if your TKA all the way, and don't care about money, then by all means use and NS motor (I'm assuming they can be used in VKs, although I have never tried.)

However if you want an above average VK and don't want to spend a week camping Night-Sisters on Dathmir, then go to Lok and kill Nym's pirates. They also drop motors, not as good as NS motors, but they will still yield a VK better than a WS can make.
