Well, I hope they don't nerf the pistoleer and dual wielding would be cool, if I ever play one.

I hope instead of stupid nerfs they will bring other classes up to that level.

I am happy for the pistol boys.

I just hope one day they fix us the TKAs and then people are happy for us, and do not whine

"Seems like a lot of TKA are upset about being vulnerable to ranged attacks. Well if you're at range with a pistol you're dead, but if you're hand-to-hand you're going to win. Don't see the big deal there, it's a class trade-off."

But, that's just it--we don't have an advantage at hand-to-hand range either. (Of course, you'd know that if you played a TKA or read any of the posts on this board.)

Ranged combat professions (especially Pistoleer) have both range and close melee advantages. Anyone who denies this is just plain ignorant.

Don't forget... go check another recent post and you'll see a screenshot of a pistoleer chaining like 29 or more special ability attacks within a 10-15 second timespan. Try pulling this off with a TKA.

If you just want to flame back then my suggestion is you pick up a pistol and see things from the other side. I was just throwing in my perspective on the situation.

BTW, you can't spam pistol knockdown anymore without dying. There's no way someone can do 29 - 30 kd's without killing themselves.

The only thing I forgot to mention about TKA iswe should have a way of hitting someone while running. Tackle or something.

There's no way you can use that many special abilities in a 15 second time span anyway. That would mean you can shoot twice per second and the pistol speed limit is 1.0 seconds if you've maxed your pistol speed skills.Sure you could do a macro for it and then run around but you won't actually do that many moves in 15 seconds. And if you did 29 - 30 moves in 29 - 30 seconds you would seriously deplete your HAMs. I haven't officially measured it but with my HAMs nearly maxed I can get about 10 consecutive KDs before my action bar is empty.

I dont care about pistoleers. All I want is just a fun casual gaming experience. Not a boring, million of time sinks, super difficult game. If I want to play a POS game I would choose everquest.
