actually you can use VK's, heres how. You will lose dmg, about 30% I find, but youll attack at the VK's speed. So find yourself a pair of 2.6 or better speed VKS, and youll about double your dmg because of the speed. Throw in beserk and you'll be much more effective. As far as lvling the first bit of your char goes, till you hit Tera Kasi Student, I find that if you get a good pet (Rock Beetle is my fav), and just find stuff thats got around 3K ham, and use the pet to tank em. Works great for exp as long as you can heal the bettle up. Once you hit Tera Kasi Student, then its a major pain in the ass to hit TKA took me like a week of solid work lol.

yeah the 125K to get from student to novice was a big pain for me, even with the VK's, cant hunt on subworlds, all you can do is kill crazed durnies (400exp a pop, if you use spin attack you can get 2-3 of the little buggers a time), thats about as good as it got for me lol. After they finish messing with the commando weapons(theyr going to change atleast once more im positive)Im going to make one and im dreading getting all 4 boxes of unarmed again.

How the hell do one xp on gigant barnitchez or what they called.
They are aggro
Attack in group
And kill within seconds

As for me, im living at fort tuskan.
Problem is as the only doc around, add that with the low IQ of ppl that figh there.
Im getting more med exp than combat.
But on good runs I can make 120K+ exp.
Avg 1200-3.5k per tuskan as long as no comandos around.

Mountian Worrts. They don't assist, they don't aggro, and they give about 1600 xp. Very easy to kill.

Right now, I'm rather fond of Endor. Just get a good Combat Medic and a BH or some other elite ranged profession, with some sort of CH. Should get at around 4K a kill if your damage is decent.

the best grinding spot i've found is fort tuskan. With a good sized group with one or two medics worth the title i've pulled down over 20k an hour. Truthfully tho as you advance the xp goes down, but considering the fort is a whole lot of mobs close together that you still pull in more xp than running missions or random hunting.

Doing one baz nitch lair is (xp cap) X 7 for each lair. My xp cap is 5,000 (cap is based on what your template is). That's 35k xp per lair. These missions are 11k credits each, and take 10min tops. You can easily rake in 200k xp and 66k credits an hour doing baz nitch lairs solo (buffed).
These missions are on dathomir.

tk + doc buffs + kinetic armour (60%+)+ brandy > all mobs with less then 20k HAM
intimidate + knockdown (if you have), then UH2; UH2; UH2
sharnaffs lairs on corellia 35-45k xp in 5-10 mins per lair
when you get to tk 2x4x just batter the lair for a challenge and kill all 10 at once ^^
p.s. sry i stole your lairs, whoever you are

Just grab some good Ubese w/ Kinetic in the 60-80% range and head to Dantooine for quenker lairs. 20-23k each lair, 5-7 minutes each lair. They do not db and only two spawn at a time. Excellent xp for me...Hit TKA Novice Monday evening, now at 0/1/4/2 just doing these missions and I only play 3 hours a day 
Theree of course may be better out there, but I like these.
