Thread: TKA should be allowed to hunt Dark jedi PCs.
yea but is a roleplaying game or fan fiction more cannon then a book?
I don't think so
sorry I just don't buy into this TKA jedi hunter thing I just dont.
I feel that Teras Kasi is just a martial art in the star wars galaxy nothing more nothing less

well most of the books in your sig man are not on the cannon list so why can't they use descriptors from games... they are not cannon as well.
ALL books are canon
tabletop RPGs are NOT canon

first of all, it's "canon" not "cannon" you don't shoot anything with canon.
Second of all, LMAO. Tkm's are delusional. Your class is great as is.

You mean like........SWG?
The ability to 'hunt' players is a unique ability of a class - Bounty Hunter. It is a large part of what makes them unique and is also part of why they cost quite so many points to develop their characters.
Most players would not appreciate other classes gaining access to what makes us unique....
I would suggest that we don't try to step on the toes of other classes and instead try to focus on developing our own unique role.
BH's are in Starwars to hunt Jedi by the Empire or the Hutts. Since Dark Jedi are pro-Empire, who hunts them?
I don't recall ever seeing a TKA in any StarWars film. Maybe u can correct me?
Since StarWars is Sci-Fi, why can't TKA or any other Combat Class be given the oppontunity to excel in their field.
TKA is martial arts, then why do we not have restraint or other martial art moves and weapons?
My two pence worth!

If you want to hunt Jedi get off your duff and go hunt Jedi.
All you need is too find 'em with a TEF. The BH mission don't work and when they did "work" the marks would 'slpoit the seekers into not working or clear their TEF is a battlefield.
Do what we have to do. Go to where they are, kill them.
You just won't get paid for it.
But ya'll are monks, RPing the Jedi "check" and aren't interested in loot eh? Right?

I have an influx of free time at the moment.
What are the book names that miention Teras Kai Artist? (I am not flaming, I honestly want to read them/ the seirese(s) they are in)
Whoops I changed my sig( I had the list in my sig) dammit
Oh well here goes
Darth maul: Shadow Hunter(Darth Maul and Jedi master Anoon Bondara are said to be Teras kasi)
Shadows of the Empire(Pike sisters mentioned in a paragraph on page 13 I do believe)
and thats all... I think
"Teras Kasi" was invented for a Playstation game, "Masters of Teras Kasi". It was a Star Wars theme tournament fighter. Think Street Fighter with Luke and Vader.
In it was a character named Arden Lyn. She was some girl with a robotic arm who was a Teras Kasi master (yes, there was only one even though the game title says "masters"). She is actually something of a bounty hunter, hired by the Empire to hunt down and kill key Rebel personnel (in other words, the good guys in the movies). You find out, however, that her reason for doing this was to kill Luke, because she wanted to prove herself by killing a Jedi. Supposedly her Teras Kasi powers were strong enough to beat Jedi.
As the order of Jedi resurfaces, so do the teachings of teras kasi, in the form of Arden Lyn, master of teras kasi. A Palawan warrior from the time of Jedi, her youthfulness belies her actual age. Her skills as one of the last teras kasi masters has attracted the attention of the Emperor and Darth Vader, who have assigned her to track down and take out key Rebel Alliance personnel. Arden, however, has her own agenda...
Some people extrapolated on that (yes, in fan fiction that they posted on the Internet) and said that Teras Kasi artists were supposed to "watch over" the Jedi. Sadly, some people on these forums mistook that for real Star Wars lore and think that TKAs should be "Jedi fighters". Well, we're not, we're just sci fi martial artists.
