If you want more damage output Melakum just do the quest for the Katarn Knuckles or pick up a Necrosis Nightblade. I have no problem dealing nice damage. Not as good as a rifleman or a swordsman but it is enough to do just fine in battle.

TKM/Menh seems like a cool choice actually. How is it with force run, does that lower your TK damage or? probably does, seems to good otherwise heh.

Point 1: Jedi aura and TKM cob do not stack
Point 2: as soon as you get novice defender, the jedi innate armor takes over, so with only 1 tree of defender... youd have to wear armor again...
Defender/TKM doesn't usually work to well. However I wanted a TKM who can lightning, cloak, heal, etc, and I came up with TKM/PIKE 0044 (defense)/ POWERS 4400/ Enhancer 0002
i tested it, the stronger armor remains till its surpassed

If you equip a weapon your damage output is just about none with frbut if you use no weapon you can still do full damage. Unless off course they changed this in the last update. I have been using a weapon for some time now because bare hands has a high sac for some reason, so I will have to test this again.

I was only able to play for a couple days with a finished template, before 19(before going on vacation, Virginia Beach is fun), and can report that:
Dps with katarn knucklers unsliced unpupped is higher than most 4th gen sabers... granted jedi have higher mult on some of their attacks, but my specials don't cost force, and I get pups, and Burnout Sauce (+23% UA damage) and have BE mods for +25 % UA damage (and +25% terrain neg from same BE clothes)
Innate tka armor is higher, so it works instead of innate jedi armor
Force armor stacked pre 19 with innate tk armor, however now after 19 it would be useless to use, as using it without defender would only give you 60 innate jedi armor, equalling your innate tk armor and costing force whenever you took damage.
Before with two trees of saber and defense I never beat a bh, now I'm 3-0 against them. When they hit me with a root, I stasis them, since they cannot heal, eat, drink, or attack for 35 sec from stasis. Then I have a normal root in suppression, and force wave slows them.
Improved force infusion (heal over time) keeps me at max health while tanking 3 level 80 mobs, but I still got tore apart by level 92 krayt (naturally had to try

Powers I would think might work well with tkm, I don't see the point in master healer (what, so you can heal bf and wounds?), lightsaber would also not make sense to me, defender would be nice but you'd lose speed, although it would make you the super tank.
I don't need to go into why tkm is nice (state recoveries, power boost, meditate, etc)
Skillpointwise, tkm/jedi have enough for one jedi mastery, and one tree to four, and 3 extra skillpoints (eventually I'm going to put them into FS skills, once I take the time to figure out how FS skills work.)
Also I've yet to fight a master sabers/master defender, because the only ones I know concede defeat saying that we both have same defense and offense, except I can keep going once force is out. Hopefully I'll get a duel in soon...

you just told me what i wanted to hear
i think the last 3 skillpoints would be nice for either the extra ranged defense or force experimentation

I have a question:
How did you grind up your Jedi trees for this template? don't you need powers or lightsaber to get Jedi XP?

I originally had two trees of lightsaber, powers, healer, and two more trees, but kept enhancer and healer and dropped the rest of the jedi skills for tkm... still loving it.

WOW! Vikey, Thummp, that does sounds like a fun template. Let me ask you this:
I really like the idea of having cloak.
Do you think I could hang with TKM/M.enh/Power x4xx? All I'd have would be Stims D.
Have you guys tried to take down any TKM/M.Doc?
Any word if pub 20 will alow stacking of force armor on TK armor?
Does force speed increase speed of non-force moves (ala adrenale boost) and by how much?

Ill answer those questions best I can. You could probably hang with no healing on a 1 vs. 1 situation as long as you kept cob going and have some nice stims but once you get 2 on 1 or more you would have a huge problem in my opinion. If you wanted cloak for the fun aspect I would say do it but if its for an escape tactic dont forget you do have FR3.
And about the TKM/Doc thing. These days it seems as if any template with good healing is almost crazy to beat. I can be done but it sure does take a long time and to me is very boring so I just take off with fr3 if I get bored. I have faced a TKM/CM and like I said it does take a while but with the force speed activated you do have an advantage. Not sure how much of a boost on the speed is technically but it definitely is noticable.
Hopefully I helped ya out a little.

I guess all good things come to an end:

For those planning on a hybrid, you may want to rethink it.... I won't be picking up a saber until this hits Live though.

Yeah that is an awesome template man, a guildie of mine has got something similar, and it is completely immune to BHs who tend to run around in high energy defence armor with only 3k kinetic - the drop in 2 or 3 hits
