Aye friend, I know your feeling all to well. I can give you some suggestions, and I hope they can help you. A) Take up not just a little pvp, but a lot! For me personally I eat, drink, live pvp. It can be a lot of fun when your with a group of friends, or if you have some talent you can have quite a succesfful experiance alone (this is very rare because a friend is often needed to watch your back when you take a kd/dizzy or get flamed and need to take care of some wounds) If you have the option, don't fly solo. Even if your friend is something like a 0021 BH, he may not be anywhere near the strongest player involved in this battle but even a 0021 BH will help you tremendously by taking some of the agro as well as being a separate entity that you oppenets have to deal with. The fact that he's still running around caushing mayhem may prevent your enemy from taking the time to DB you. Another thing that will enhance your pvp experiance is to find a master doc who likes to kick some butt too. I personally am a TKM / Master Doc. Having a Doctor on hand for pvp makes a world of difference. He can rez you when you die as well as take care of those pesky flame wounds and other various Dots. On lowca there has been a recent upsurge in combat medics... I as a doctor (reguardless of my TK abilities) am asked to nearly every pvp event because of my ability to take care of disease poison etc. Quite obviously the ability for a doctor to buff you is a tremendous uperhand against those who are not buffed, and a necessity against those who are. When it boils down to the plain facts, a doctor for several reasons is someone you want sporting the team colors. Finally, to improve your pvp experiance a high quality suit of composite it's a fantastic investment. Good composite can be the difference between winning and loosing a battle. If only i could list the numbers of times that my composite has saved my hide the money spent on it would certainly seem worth it. On lowca i can get a very nice complete suit of composite 65 base def. for anywhere from 400k-600k. Now granted you have concerns about getting this armor and then having decay on it. Well consider that in the next publish pvp decay will be done away with. Even know if insured, the %1 decay is rather neglidgable. It's a large investment but this leads me to my next idea.

Hunt for other rewards! Run imp/reb missions on secondary planets to earn some cash. "But that takes so long!" Well if slow and steady doesn't win the race for you then try hunting the big game not only for fun but for loot drop. I have a friend who weekly goes on a large hunt and regularly loots high ticket items! He has sold numerous SEA's for over 7 mil. Go on a krayt hunt! If you find a nice pearly you can fetch a pretty penny. With you new income pick up a suit of that armor! What it comes down to is find a way of making money that suits you best.

Set up a TK tournement! (or even a melee tourny, or just a regular dueling tourny) Have fun using your abilities, not necessarily agains mobs but get a group of friends and challenge eachother. Make some friends in a city and invite them for a friendly duel. Explore eachothers character classes and see what you can do. Dueling can be a great way to gauge you ability in pvp (granted there are gross differences from pvp to dueling but there are still things to be learned in dueling).

Don't know what to do with yourself as TKM? ROLE PLAY IT! role playing can be quite fun. In lowca there is an entire player city that are only TK's. They have a "dojo" in the middle of the city and they practice against themselves there.

Use TK as a tool. Use your abilities to help others. I personally get the biggest kick out of helping new players, and every time they say "wow! you really kick butt!" it rekindels the thrill of having TKM for me.

I hope what i have said can help you. What it comes down to is finding what works for you. What i have said is only the beginning, i could rant all day about things to do. But good luck to you, and welcome to the ranks. Stick with it, and try to have some fun.

Struggling with forum posting/viewing problems at the moment, so bear with me

As has already been mentioned, there are a number of things to do as a Master, even if you do not wish to simply move on to mastering a new profession.

Roleplay
Resource Gathering
'Tanking' for others
PvP

etc etc.

Personally I have a lot of fun offering to group with others for PvE, then simply watching their backs and helping out if and when people get in trouble. It is both an ego boost, and also helps build up friendships with people outside your own PA. Other than that, resource gathering for Medics and Doctors is always helpful (though can be boring if you're stuck hunting Dwarf Nunas for Avian meat!), and PvP is always a blast - If you stick to wearing clothing, you really have nothing to lose.

One aspect overlooked by many people is the RP element. Life really begins at 'Master', and while it is easily possible to RP right from the start, once the pressure to grind has been removed, there is no real reason why you can't hit the 'roleplayer' tag, and go find a likeminded crowd to have fun with. PvP and PvE are extremely important aspects of SWG, but RP certainly has its place there as well, so take advantage of it. I am all for encouraging RP - Lets face it, it is player created content, something which there can never be too much of.

I agree once you stop the grindtry roleplaying as we all know that is where most of this game content comes from. I would like to organize some duels for TKA's only but it seems there is no reward for many to want to do it.

Maybe if a gambling system were put in place for duels like a Droid that you give your money to and pays you when your fighter wins etc and help out the poor DE class. You could have Master crafters sponsor the overall winner and if it gave merchant xp to the droid owner and politician xp for the organizer it would motivate people to PVP more.

Anyway I think that roleplaying is the only way to prevent end game bordom.
