Thread: Stop posting that your meditation animation does not work

I think my thread is doing what I wanted it to do. I really am getting tired of all the pointless posts on the forum. Yes I don't mind helping people, in fact I enjoy it, but stupidy and laziness angers me. If its a small question or bug either ask someone in game, search the forum for it, or gasp send /bug it. I don't want to sound mean, but the quality and types of posts on this forum has gone downhill. It seems like every other posts is either nerf TKA, don't nerk TKA, my mediatation does'nt work, or I hate the devs and I am leaving this game. Put some thought into a post before you post it.

The only way things get sorted if people keep at it till its done, and posting it on the boards is good since when it happend to me I diddnt know what it was, if you dont like the posts, IGNORE them, dont start a argument about it.

You guys didnt read what I wrote before. I love coming to forums and seeing what the community has to say, but the board is spammed with whines. Im not saying that there should be a rule against it or anything, I just think it's annoying.

Ok search the boards there must be thousands of posts complaining about it. You can still do everything associated with mediatating except you only sit instead of kneeling. Get over it, it will be fixed shortly. /bump this post so morons don't keep posting the same stupid question.

I'M AGAINST POST BASHING BUT THIS GUY IS A DUMB AS THEY COME. IT WAS NOT JUST A GRAPHICS ISSUE. THERE WAS A LOT OF US WHO IT WAS TOTALLY BROKE FOR.


I COULD NOT USE MEDITATE, I COULD NOT AUTO HEAL IN ANY HOSPITAL OR CANTINA, AND BETTER YET EVEN MY 110 MED DROID MADE NO DIFFERENCE. I NEEDED TO BE HELPED BY A PLAYER WHICH COST ME A LOT OF MONEY IN TIPS AND TRAVEL FAIR.


AFTER I CONTACTED ACSR HE SAY'S "IT'S JUST A GRAPHICS ISSUE, MEDITATE STILL WORKS PROPERLY'". WELL AFTER I SUBMIT A BUG AND SEND A EMAIL TO DEV I GET A NICE RESPONCE FROM THEM "WEWERE UNAWARE OF THIS PROBLEM. APPARENTLY IT IS ONLYEFFECTING A SAMLL AMOUNT OF PEOPLE, AND WE ARE WORKING TO CORRECT IT. THANK YOU FOR BRINGING THIS TO OUR ATTENTION"


SO TO THE ORIGNATOR OF THIS STUPID THREED SHUT UP.

Well after playing this NGE for a bit I realize that SOE has messed this game up beyond beyond repair. (other wise known as FUBAR) The only way to really fix this game would be a complete and total server wipe when the next version comes out. And I myself believe that SOE will eventually get to that point if Lucas Arts is dumb enough to continue granting SOE the License for this game. SOE has not given a crap about the player base so a complete server wipe will not hurt any of thier feelings, destroy every hour of hard work you have put in..........but then again they have all ready done that so bring on the server wipes! WOO fricken HOOOOOOOOOOOO

Ouch..... well now that the 10 year old has stopped complaining I think I shall have my rebuttle. Where did I say that It was not ok to post pertinant questions? I wanted people to stop posting the same stupid questions over and over again. If your meditation does not work at all then yes this a problem and yes post it in the forums. However ,if your only problem is that you don't sit on your knees oryou think I am too strong or too weak shut up about it or add it to an already existing thread.
What Shaneclemons said is exactly what I don't want on this board. If you think I am wrong or you have your opinion please let me hear it, but don't insult me or capitolize your whole post. You did not have one important thing to say other than, I was a moron. Did you think before you wrote down your comments because half of them make no sence.

In reguards to the idea that in order for something to get fixed it has to be spammed all over the forums, I disagree.Jherad hasat least 5 threads that deal with all of the problems of TKA. These are threads that Jherad reads every day and reports to the devs.Do you honestly think the devs search through every single thread on every single forumand then ask all the correspondents what they think? No way! They go to Jherad and ask him what his polls and overall impressions are from his posts.AllI am saying is that there are better ways tofix a problemthan just postingthe same post that end up dropping off the face of the earth in a few hours.I just want someintegrity and constructive ideas brought back to these forums.

As a non-holo TKM, I'd certainly agree that watching EVERYONE AROUND ME meditating is annoying. So I say, "so dude, you must have some nasty woundage. I came into this starport 5 minutes ago and you're still meditating." Novice says, "Oh, I just think it looks cool."


Folks, it looks cool to you and only you, not everyone else. Back to my point though, no one ever see's me meditating unless I have some major wounding or am powerboosting. If I'm doing either, it's right before a fight. Which leads me to another point. The only reason you'd ever see TKA getting another nerf bat is for everyone to be meditating while in the starport. It'll lead the devs into thinking that the organic system isn't so organic after all. They force changes to one of the only working professions in the game so people will leave for others. I agree people should try some originality, but come on, leave meditation for when you need it.


Until you have meditate 4, you only need to meditate to powerboost and to rid of disease, bleeding, poison. When I noticed the animation broken, I was glad because I really don't like people knowing what I am. Sure, they can examine me, but most people don't. Even then, I have so many master badges, they couldn't be sure what I am.


Anyhow, this is all a moot point at the moment since meditate animatino is no longer broken.
