Hi,

I've been a TKM 3 times since I started playing this game.. Weird part is. I never had to grind it. I enjoyed it to much to notice. One day I am a newbie fighter. Get myself a decent VK. And a week or two down the road after many fun group hunts BAMB.. TKM. I guess its the one profession that I never felt was a grind. Maybe becasue I always enjoyed putting the hurt on the Mobs or being the group Tank. The finer points of taking out a Sharnaff in a group of newbie hunters, instead of just bash, bash, bash and grab up all the xp I can.

Oh well maybe I am alone in my views of enjoying a trully enjoyable profesion. Now I understand why a Doctor friend was upset with me When I told her I grindded out Master Doctor in 4 days where it took her a month. She loved that profession so she didn't have to grind it.

Sorry I know this wasn't a a post about grindding TKM and weather its right or wrong. I just see to many TK's out there who are TK only becasue its powerfull or they think they look cool meditating. Not becasue it's enjoyable.

i have a question along this similiar vein as this post...

what's the basic "best way" to level TKA once you hit novice.... most elite professions have a pretty standard progression. like on swordsman, it's ...speed tree first, then go for the AOE and bang...you're a master.

what's the best trees to get going on first. or which blocks are most important???

gettting to UA IV and novice TKA is a grind any way you punch it.... i just don't want to finally get to novice TKA and then waste the exp on a skill that isn't vital at the beginning.

any advice on this matter would be greatly appreciated.

Look... if u want fast good xp, do this;

1. Get a knuckler sliced for speed

2. Get Comp armor or Ubese.. something with a high kinitic resis.

3. Get buffed, go to dant and get in a big solo group,

4. Get savage quenker missions and hunt on your own. They are easy to kill and give about 3-4k xp a kill. I mastered TKM this way and it only took about 3 days.

For getting to TK novice, I found an unusual mob to go after--sentry hermit spiders on Naboo. They're very easy to find, they spawn at 20+ so there are lots of them, and they give about 500 xp. Only 500 xp? Yeah, but at 20+ per spawn, you can take out the whole nest (keep hammering the lair and then spin attack--six or seven will come out all at once) in about 5-7 minutes unbuffed, and 500 times 20 equals 10k. It's cheap, you don't need great armor, they're everywhere on Naboo--and it's relatively risk-free (queens will pop at the end, but they're not that tough--just big on the screen). By the time you hit the next lair you're healed up again and ready to start over.

Plus, sentry hermits were my bane as a beginning player--revenge is sweet!
