i have to disagree, the only thing swordsman has that we dont is a second damage type. other than that TKM is far better. i was in the DWB the other night tanking 2 SBD and some smaller things and my HAM was barly moving, btu on th eother side of the room 2 swordsman were tanking a SBD and the HAM was moving don way faster. but like i said, we can only do kenetic so it takes a while to kill thing.

As a novice pistoleer with some smuggler dirty fighting I was able to kite a TKM non stop. It amazes me how often I see ranged classes stand toe to toe with melee class. As a TKM now I find my carbine skills, also Master Carb, a must to stop those long legged enemies running away.

swordsmen is better at pve than tkm.. face it
spin2 does insane ammount of damage, and with a decent scythe.. boom
altough, dont go into pvp with the swordsman without KD food.. unless you like eating dirt, i tried..

i've been tka since first days of mine 
and i'm playing in groups where is my new friends and we are both TKA's. He is Stacker and I'm doc. CM's is quite nice joke for me and him and riflemans are just running away while we wait them at anchorhead. use your own brains how to take out rifleman or cm. and yes i've killed fencer stacker and fencer/doc all alone before pub9. you just need to learn your own way to fight as TKA, when you find it you are very powerful against every other profession.
TKA isn't "I WIN" button but it's "I NEED TRAINING" button

I've been a rifleman for a few months now and decided to get a melee profession, I got TKM a few days ago, got a few tips from guildmates and I must say I like TKM better then Rifleman, with TKM I've actually beaten 2 Dark Jedi Knights so far (well, got their life half way down then they force run 3). And the armor, if anyone is rich enough they can buy 4 sets of armor and get all the other stats up to 90% so 80%kinetic aint that bad... + 38% stun and PSG saves us from the Stun dammage... the PSGs even defends us vs lightsaber dammage now
