I like TKM MCM
With combat medic I can throw nice DOTs on them, and use thyroid rupture to save myself even more damage.
After that I can take a pounding while having plenty of time to keep my CoB up and heal myself as my auto attack and DoTs kill them all.
(note: havent PvPed too much with this, so im not sure how effective it is there.)
That's my template also. The only thing I'm finding about this is that it takes VERY long to kill things. I was grouping w/ a friend who's a BH/rifleman and for every one mob I take down, he takes down 2 or 3On the good side, I can go afk and auto attack/macro CoB away w/o hardly ever needing a heal if the mob is lower level...
Same template for me. Remember that DOT's stack. You can rack up some very nice damage with them if you hit with 3 or 4 of them. And if the TK's weapons weren't useless, he/she could do some decent damaged.
Primary role though for this template is group defense/healing. Bacta Spray with this template actually helps by agro'ing mobs. Much more succesful than the taunt command.
And as for PVP, It's quite good if played correctly. Lots of strategy involved. I've won most PvP fights since the CU.
Hmm...maybe I'm not doing enough? Iuse the Neurotoxin, Deuterium, and Infect and they net me about 500+ damage per tick. Add this along w/ Melee Hit (no VKs since unarmed seems to work better than armed) nets me 400+ damage for a total of 900+. If Armor Break sticks, I can get in another 100+ damage for a couple hits. I tried using Combo Attack but Melee Hit seems to give more damage (at least according to the combat log). From a purely damage output point of view, is there more I can do to increase it?
Thanks a bunch!

CM is very different to any other profession. We are not fast killers with high damage output.
We can:
-Drop enemy attack speed by 40% (which effectively means 40% damage reduction)
-Drop enemy movement speed by 40% so we can stay away from melee enemies.
-Hit them with poison/fire and then paralyse them, giving us time to heal or hit them with other debuffs (which don't break the paralyse)
-Stack our poisons ...250 damage per tick, 500, 750, 1000 per tick in just 4 attacks!! And all while we are safe from harm and the enemy is paralysed. Enhancers improve this even further, but they are very expensive.
The goal is not to kill the enemy quickly, but to kill them slowy and surely in a way they can't defend against (unless they are Doc). And secondarily, we keep the enemy from damaging us.
As for TK, well, It is purely a defensive prof at the moment...at least until we get useful weapons. Best to just use the knockdown, and CoB to stop you from being damaged.
