I have another question about those DoT.
Do they stack?
I mean when mob use DoT, I have the your poison severity has increased, does it works too with those?
In that case, even a VK with 1/1 condition is still veryusefull with our speed.
Beside, VK is not like other weapons, even one that do 1-1 dmg is usefull, especially with low ham cost.
It does increase your damage and give you AP1.

DOT weapons still work even if they get to 0 condition....

I have one also looted of Enraged rancors.
Uses -1
Potensy 5% (amazing isnt it)
Poison to mind
Strenght 76
I rarely rarely use it and its currently hanging of the wall. Simply not worth it....

I heard a rumor that heat damage VKs wee comign into the game. Are these DoTs what the guy was on about?

No, DoT means Damage over Time, meaning it has some kind of fire / poison, etc enhancement on it.
The heat damage knucklers that everybody is talking about is a proposed new knuckler that does heat damage instead of kinetic... like the different types of damage that pistols do, for example.

The VK you're thinking of was called the Razor Knuckler, which could be made from a schematic dropped in the Death Watch Bunker dungeon. It was on Test Center and even made it onto the live servers for a couple days after the DWB was added in a patch. However, they were way too powerful and they weren't meant to go live, the devs stopped them from dropping and confiscate any Razor Knucklers or schematics they can find.

The devs say they might bring it back, but not until the (duh, duh, DUUUUUUH!) combat revamp.

Will they be coming back?
I think we need a knuckler with a different damage type. Only one though, just so we have an option.

I looted a DoT VK on an anciant bull rancor a while ago
stats are
+3 counterattack
+10 def vs knockdown
+2 def vs stun
3.5speed
7 - 59 dmg
Poison
Action
233 Str
102 Secs
52% potency
1811 Uses

Sigh im a noob as you can tell from my name....where exactly is a good place to find the rancors that drop these things? Please dont laugh i just never even considered hunting them but since i mastered TK i could probably do it now. please let me know planet what city is best to get to it from and if possible to location they are mostly located in.

Rancors are on Dathomir. Only way to get there is by inter planetary shuttle transport via Corellia only. You'll have to try and find a solo group on either Dantooine, Corellia, or Dathomir itself. Then keep an eye out for 39k missions (Enraged Rancors).
Make sure you're fully buffed, Double Brandy + Canape/Triple Ahrisa, whatever you use to keep your mind up should suffice. Try and get at least 70% - 80% + Kinetic resist armour, and try and take on as few Rancors at a time as possible. If you get mobbed the KD + Dizzy is painful.

ok i have some questons abought these and would be grateful for any input however im unsure if this is even th right forum to ask lol
have any of you ever looted one of these? or is there such a thing as an exceptional motor that can be crafted and have a DoT on it?
I know these exist as i have seen my buddys however he bought it in a quitibng swg sale so i am out of luck for asking the seller
another friend of mine looted a vk with skill mods on it im just wondering if the same mob that dropped the SM on could drop the DoT version?
