Well, it's not like you can't do that now...it's just that Rangers and Docs can do that themselves, too.

I'm a Ranger/TK and I have skillpoints left over for either a bit of Fener or for medi (I usually hunt unbuffed and unarmored, so I'm sticking with this for now) .

You COULD charge someone per hour to be their tank...but actually a TKM Ranger has you beat on that front. Rangers have a skill called rescue that makes the creature (or creatures) de-agro the target and attack you instead. I have saved more than one persons' life on Dath using this technique.

Anyway, not a bad idea...but any melee prof can tank. Heck witha good suit of comp and a few STIM B's a BH could tank efficiently enough. especially since they wouldn't be doing much unarmed damage.

Would it really be worth it to spend an hour of your time and get only 1,000 credits back? In a solo group on dantooine you can make like 150,000 credits or more in an hour. Just doesn't seem worth it to lend yourself out to people like that. Heh, if you going to tank for them just do it for free
