Meditate doesn't heal *any* wounds until the 4th box. At that point, you'll see a message pop up on your screen every time a specific wound is healed. It looks something like "Meditation: You have healed 26 mind wounds".

I am confused. If I camp and meditate (have meditate I) all wounds heal, even mind wounds. The only thing that doesn't is BF. I admit that it takes a while (15 - 20 minon a bad hunt). In a med center, wounds heal about 3x faster while meditating. I don't remember wounds healing in camp w/o a medic before. But then I have a short memory.

Only stop bleeding, etc. work w/o a camp.

Camps have always healed all wounds (including Mind), but very slowly. Once you reach Meditate IV you will understand the difference between taking 15-20 mins to heal wounds and taking less than a minute to heal ALL wounds. When your wounds are healed by meditation you WILL know it. Until then, please take on faith that you are only receiving the benefits of a camp or med center when you see your wounds disappearing.

And yes... BF is still in the realm of the Entertainer.

wow, i just read all the replys, and there are some hillarious suggestions for accual words that rthyme with meditation, my favorite was postulation, simply hillarious

thanks for the info, though now that im tka novice i can see now that meditation doesnt seem to do much before at least level 2

however, i think ill use it quite a bit cus it just plain looks cooler than sitting normally, and, if im not mistaken, it allows me to heal HAM *slightly* faster than sitting, but im still testing, if it is indeed faster its really minute

also, yes, camps heal wounds, bigger camps heal them faster, and while in a camp or med center every certain amount of time you heal every wound in chunks of 10. and it goes faster on a full stomach, so eat up!

as a helpful tip to any medics that are reading this, if you see someone in a med center who has every wound below 10 and one above it, heal the higher one only until it is 10 or less, then unless they tip you, just tell them to eat something, and they will quickly heal the rest on their own.

That has to be one of the... Best ideas I have heard! Sounds like fun. If you are In Intrepid galaxy, count me in. Would make for some interesting screen shots at the very least... (esp. if we place all kinds of strange items which have been nerfed in a ritual shape of some kind...) lol And/or we can go sit in front of starports and sing kumbaya... lol

In answer to your question:

I heard lots of rumors of lower meditatin levels healing wounds, albeit very slowly, so, as I worked my way up the meditation ladder(which I did first actually, and I feel I made a much wiser decision than most),I took time on each tier and tested for hours upon hours if it worked and minded where I was when I tested it.

I am not just guessing, I was paying full attention, and finally, I know what Im talking about. Im master and have been a bit and have been on since day one.

*Meditation ONLY heals wounds starting on Meditation IV* Period.

As stated by others, you will receive a system message every couple of seconds saying which attribute is healed and how much. There will be no mistake as to whether it's working or not.

Any other wound healing you've experienced when meditating on a lower level is strictly due to either being in a camp or med center and not paying enough attention or not having enough game knowledge to realize that's it. Not flaming those that have stated these things, just stated a fact nicely and flatly.
