Teras Kasi Archive

Ahh some familiar names from Beta. I am once again pursuing the Mastery of Teras Kasi and loving EVERY minute of it !!

Finding decent areas to xp in isnt as easy as it was in beta, and practically no one on Bria is going to Endor at the moment, but I have found some decent spots to really practice my TK skills.

So far I have reached Teras KasiNovice and am currently working on Int Power (about half way there), and Int Precision ( about half way there). My wife Giselle is a TK Student and is working hard to better her skills as well.

If any of you former TKA I knew in beta are hanging out on Bria, please look me up. I still live on Talus and commute to other planets for exploring and some good hand to hand fun!!

First, Id like to say that making a grind harder and giving more power in return is horrible for an MMORPG generally, because it stops NO ONE from going for what is uber. Thus making something harder to acheive, unless ridiculusly difficult, doesnt do anything but annoy people. Case in point Jedi (who Ive seen beaten by TKs).

As far as TK bieng broken, well Ill admit that I dont know the profession that well - Im just 0/0/1/2 so flame me for what Im seeing all you want, but it seems as if nearly everyone is going TKA. Thats usually a sign of something bieng overpowered. Couple that with the fact that with mediocre buffs, armor, and food (none of it was the best by a longshot) I made 370,000 xp on ONE set of buffs yesterday hunting on Dantonine. I killed entire lairs of quenkers at a time (as suggested by this very board).

I think if people think that TK is broken, well - combat rebalance, because of whats probably going to happen to buffs and armor, is going to hurt TKs quite a bit, and then people may make a case out of them bieng broken.

I havent felt this invinceable in PvE since I was CH / BH with an LLC and a Graul Mauler.

Sure, TKs may have a weak point in only bieng able to deal kinetic melee damage, but from what Im seeing, TKs are hurting FAR less than other professions. Pistoleer is a good example of a pathetic profession.

Please don't dig this garbage up. This stuff has been found to be just fan fiction garbage and discarded long ago.
