Put simply a Jed Master will be able to beat any profession master they want, the point is that currently most Jedi aren't that advanced into the profession so they're struggling against BH Masters, TKA masters and just about every player who is at a very advanced stage. Thats to be expected, a Padawan is equal to someone at an intermediate stage in an elite profession. Thats a huge jump over starting so weak that a chuba is causing you troubles as they instantly have more power. The point is though that progress is slow, it's supposed to be some Jedi never attained the master statusand many padawans never became a Jedi knight. However once they do get into a more advanced stage they can wipe the floor with anything single handed, even a player with an AT-ST.

For some reason the Jedi seem to think that their the power base of paying customers and that they aresomehow more important than the rest of us. Which would be indicitive of the animosity that I've seen lately between Jedi and NonJedi players. When their arrogance sticks their nose up at you and says, "I'm more important than you'll ever be" it leaves a bad taste in the mouth of most everyone who encounters it. You had a very good point Tal-N, they are currently sub Lukes in a sense and there isno way that they can defeat any Master Class at this point.
Hey guys guess what i have been a TK sincei started playing onl aunch( in spirit sincei was unarmed then heheh). And guess what i am a jedi LOL.By the way i took out a fellowTKM with him . Honestly it's not the TK's fault they get no status defences or mitigation. Devs did a wonderfull job rushing them out broke, hence that is why they don't have permadeath anymore. At least untill they get fixed.
The jedi don'thave much of achance against any elite untill padawan anyway so. Who cares a few jedi got killed by a TK, anyone can kill them.
By the way these profs took out my first jedi either by freindly duel or actuall fight all masters by the way:
Fencer X 2
Bounty hunter X 2
Comando X 3
Notice no TKM i gother loldizzy/kd of my own heheh it actually stuck lol. They should be worried not usif you ask me.

Oh and as a side notewhat do you know of my class or how to play it? For instance are you aware that most of our missions dont spawn, that most people send 30 minutes tracking a mark that isn't there? Or that instead of droids tracking faster as we progress up the investigation line they update slower? Or maybe you didn't realize that until the most current patch Jedi missions pointed to animal lairs, or non jedi characters who weren't attackable. Maybe you dont know that even know when a BH gets a Jedi mission and happens to find that jedi they dont have a TEF so are not attackable by the BH with the mission. It is possible you meant something else though.
As for the eyeshot spamming when are people going to wake up and realize that it's the pistoleers who spam eyeshot, not the BH's.

And, I've been around since Beta. You'll find my name on the Beta acknowledgement listing. Been a TKM a long time. So, please don't assume...just makes you look more stupid..
And ooooh! The third paragraph is a real gem! I sympathize with your broken missions...but you're a bloody idiot if you think anyone HERE is going to care. Be smart. You're not happy with your profession? Last I looked, there were loads of other professions to choose from that are less broken. If you CHOOSE to remain in your profession despite your obvious unhappiness with it, then, we can all ASSUME that either you're very stupid, or some sort of sick masochist.
Either way, whining here is not going to make a whit of difference to YOUR profession.
So, little boy, go home to your boards and post there. You know, the forum board titled "Bounty Hunter"? You'll find it on the main "Professions" page of the forum. If you can't find it, as we can't assume that you are of normal intelligence, try "Customer Support"...

You see, I also used to be a Pistoleer...
Which brings me to the next question. How come you don't know this? What kind of a BH are you? We've already established that you're not very smart...so now we know you're not very competent either...

oh god I can't believe you brought this point up he's saying that pistoleers dabble into the BH tree to get eye shot in the first place that is why pistoleers use eye shot...
two I don't know what you guys are doing name calling...well whatever and thanks for bringing out the fact that the "nerf bat" is pointed at us obviously it is beyond our control and you came in here to piss the TKM's off because really this post has no meaning as no amount of anything we do can change the devs mind...which brings me to my next point devs c'mon guys you guys made the professions BACK THEM UP!!! lol all this game is is people crying about one thing or the next until the devs finally say "screw it I'm tired of the crying" and they "fix","nerf" or whatever to it they don't back up their original plan and they just end up changing it anyway
do I care if we get nerfed? hell no honestly with force powers and a lightsaber(a well crafted one not one gotten from a meatlump) a jedi can certainly take TKM's all jedi are are people who ground out professions without really gaining combat experience in RL so they get jedi and decide they should be so uber that if they don't even know how to fight they should still win well you know what WHATEVER nerf us do whatever but it will always be the people that makes a profession superior not the techniques or abilities the techniques and abilities are just tools people are the weapons enough said
Hmmm name me a combat professionjedi can beat... I don't know of any.

Some also dabble in the smuggler profession. So if they choose to use some smuggler skills, what do we call this class? A smuggling pistoleer? Or maybe a pistol toting smuggler?
I am a TKM. I am also a Master Swordsman...so when I have a sword or power-hammer in my hands, what am I? And armed TKM? I am also a Master Brawler...so when I Warcry 2 at the same time, what am I? A brawling, armed TKM? I am also part Medic...so when I heal myself, what am I? A healing, brawling, armed TKM?
Not meaning to be sarcastic here. But you assume the class when you use the skill or the weapon. So, when I have a power-hammer in my hands, I am a Master Swordsman. If I unequip my power-hammer, and take up VK's, I am then fighting as a TKM.
So, a pistoleer who spams eye-shot, is fighting as a BH at the point of time he uses this skill. It is difficult to define him at this point, since this game allows you to mix and match skills, but the pistoleer tree does not identify this skill as a pistoleer skill.
Nerf or not-nerf, it matters little. But the original poster coming here to gloat...that is probably the most counter productive part of this thread so far. It is childish, and benefits neither of the professions. I have many times voice support for the BH's woes. 3 of my best ingame friends are BH's, and believe me, I am aware of their problems and their issues with their droids and the dreaded Investigation tree. But this idiot deserves no quarter.
