While only kenetic damage DOES slow us down in a few areas, over all TKA is the least broken profession. Actually, i think id go as far as saying that TK isnt broken at all. All our specials work (with the exception of the combos combat spam) and we are very balanced. We dont do much damage but we can outlive almost any other profession on the battlefield.
the devs should spend their time on things that need help. like pistoleer, carbinier, SQUAD LEADER, and the most broken combat class in the game: commando. Leave TKA as it is. These devs have a habbit of screwing up things while trying to fix others, so i say they should leave us how we are and fix other professions.

This is not fair for TKAs, as a Master Swordsman I have Meditation 4, Mind focused damage, Blast and kinetic.With some Fencer and basic Medic (some Stimpack B are 400+ healing !) such a Template rules!
As long as we will be able to dabble in other professions there will be ueber templates.
If dabbling becomes impossible, I think I could change for pure TKA because Meditation is invaluable, not sure though as 2H/Doctor would become THE way to go.
The term "Combat Balance" is now "Combat Revamp" because balance is impossible.The Horizon Effect (too many variables like in chess) should allow the best player to win (the more inventive,reactive,situation aware etc..) in most cases.

Ok first of the guy that said all heat weapons are ap0 is wrong. Even though razor knucklers were taken out of the game som still got through, and they were ap1, Just like regular knucklers, And now for the guy who said that other a different kind of dmg knuckler wouldnt help your completely wrong too. When fighting against armor kinetic dmg is very efficient until fighting the people with 80% kinetic special resistance, that is where the dmg takes the complete shaft. But just because its 80% kin means that odds are the Heat or other areas are lower, even if the suit was 80% kin special resist, and then 80% heat dmg as a base you will still do more dmg using heat knucklers. That is the point. When fighting against 80% comp and melee mitigation, tka dmg takes the shaft. That is why he is asking for any other dif type of dmg.

On Another Note Tka Is My Favorite Profession In The Game. My statement before does not mean i want the change either i agree that tka right now is probably the most solid prof in the game so why throw another dmg type in to where we would have very little weaknesses. Other prof need work before we do, sorry guys

an FYI to all you pvp noobs 
when you get your 69% base armor sliced .....
the resists are higher than your 80% kinetic ....
so you new damage would do less damage cuz of more resist...
if you want something new as for armor piercing or something...

By not giving TK another damage type it forces some people to be other proffesions, if a creature starts dropping a really good loot but has 100% kinetic, a TKM can't take it alone, forcing...Teamwork, the TK can give it statuses and knock it down while sumone else does the damage. I don't think the DEVs want a single person to take on the hardest, freakiest stuff they can think up.

I agree with those who are saying we don't really need another damage type. I just wouldn't make much sense either from a concept standpoint.
