I just made Novice TK and this is happening to me all the time on Corellia. Very frustrating for someone just learning to be a TK.


Another thing I have noticed with mobs like Savage Humbabas they move to a position where they can hit me but I can not hit them. My screen says I am in striking distance but I do not strike while the hit me freely. I have to keep moving to a new position until I find one where I can strike again. And they constantly move to counter that position. Again kind of frustrating for a newbie TK with no ranged attacks or DOTs.

Dunno if that was happening alot before pub 9, but in PvP dizzy and lunge-kd, doesn't work as much as I remembered. I mean the guy gets, lowered-KDed, but won't stay down. Tried that with a BH, dizzy worked 2 out of 5. Noticed any change in that too?

I agree it's frustrating. There are several MOBs that do this. Try unequipping your knuckles. You can actually "reach" farther without them. =/ It's annoying, but if they attack you at least you have an alternative to trying to reposition yourself.

i've posted many times (way before pub 9) that creatures where warping 100m away and 70m in the air

but i have found that /taunt will make them stop walking away from you and you can stop them from warping if you spam /taunt alot they still wander away a bit

the main problem is with the way they are walking away from you when there ham gets low
it seems that the system thinks the creature is stuck and proceeds to warp them away from you

bad thing about this if they warp 120m away more then 3 times the misson becomes incomplete due to you having to run away from the misson so much (has happened to me alot)

if they do warp i just run 40m whip out my t21 and blast them but they should really take out the creature warping i know that people would go back to trapping the creature but they need to find a new way to do this so that the creature will only warp when it is stuck on a house or something not running away when they don't want to die

The /taunt trick works great, especially on NS Elders (with their insane resists, they have enough time to warp on you after a certain HAM point is reached). Protectors are that way too.


/taunt also works very well on GDKs and krayts too. In fact, use it a lot when your main target is getting low on HAM and they probably won't get far enough away from you to warp.

I've still had a problem with warping, i was fighting NS protectors, rangers, and spellweavers last night and when the HAM got around 1k or so, I would see them turn and run, then they reappear about 100 meters away again.


Unarmed Combo 2is displaying the proper damage now.


I dueled a Dark Jedi Knight and althought I didn't record the combat log, I know he hit me nearly every time. I was using a CoB macro, and have a +5 to my dodge statistics. I do realize I was dueling a Dark Jedi Knight, which is the top level melee character in this game right now, so i'll have to try again with some lower level Jedi to see how it goes.

I have also noticed a lot of the creatures warping when they get low HAM. But if you attack the lair they will usually *slowly* walk back...

Creature warp is the most noticable for me as well.

Hunted Nightsisters most of yesterday and today. The warping issue was rampant. Almost every single Nightsister I faught, if it got out of range and I went after it, would warp 75-100m away. This seems (atleast for me) to be much more of an issue than it was pre-patch. I almost never had to deal with it before the patch, now I jsut assume that if I get a Nightsister to low health, and she flees out of range before I kill her, she's going to warp 100m away.

I tried to figure out a trigger for this, and the only thing that seemed repeatable was unarmedlunge1 pretty much always triggered a warp if the NS was trying to run away. This bug is really annoying, especially since I have no terrain negotiation, and they always seem to warp uphill or across a ravine.
