i also don't see the need to buy exceedingly expensive weapons... just to gain a few more points of damage.
my playing style is fairly laid back. i grind when i have to... to get going in a profession, and usually coast to master. i buy weapons from weaponsmiths i have become familiar with. max damage or stats... i just try to keep an eye on.
i like to bank up about 500k and then never worry about credits till i get down to 30-40k
VKs... i try not to go over 30k. and find most for 15k or so. Sometimes if i'm bored i'll hunt on lok for those enhanced motors or whatever and custom build a VK.... mayhap 50k there. but that's my tops.
there's just no use. at master anything i can thrash... i can thrash just as well with a 15k VK as with a 2.2mil one?!?

Being a TKA and WeaponsmithI charge 700k for unsliced VK's and upto 2.2mil for sliced ones on Eclipse. I am the most expensive VK maker by a good margin.
Unsliced Vibro Knucklers
Condition: 963
Speed: 2.0
Min damage: 50
Max damage: 166
Wound: 44.5%
Range: +20/+20/+20
HAM: 35/50/35
Price: 700k
The 2.2mil sliced VK's get's you a 220+dmg VK. My personal VK does 224max damage.
I sell 1.3/1.4speed VK's for 1.6mil.
I cant keep the sliced ones in stock and the unsliced ones sell very well.
I charge near what you do sometimes more =).. because i make the best vks =p my personvk is 241 41.8% wound 2.0 speed 61min (Ns enhanced) though u charge a little much for the speed one seing that there only good for people who are grinding

My advice for now is to just buy five or six unsliced vks from your favorite weaponsmith, and have them all sliced by a master smuggler. You'll get a few speeds slices, which you can use during the grind, and a few damage slices that you can use after you hit power 4.
On Bria at least, unsliced vk's cost around 8-12k, most are at 10k each. Most smugglers will slice for between 5-8k if they aren't busy doing something else. For comparison... most weaponsmiths charge anywhere from 20-35k a peice for presliced VK's. Now you know why I say to just get them sliced yourself.

Phe'nix, where did you get such a good unsliced VK from? Being a TKA myself I would love to get one of these. Is it possible for you to email me a WP in game to Bhozar please? I think the original poster would also like the WP too.

I honestly didn't keep the WP. I can get decent VK's for free pretty much anytime I want now from a WS buddy. It was on Dant, in one of the player cities. It may have been Mesric.

Well the loot hes putting into those VK's would sell for a nice profit to most weaponsmiths. Base Nym motors are 180-200k. If they have hiigher stats than +20 to max damage the prices goes up. Looking how the min damage has been increased too I would say they are nightsister motors as there are no other motors in game other than mine and nightsister motors who have higher than normal min damage in adition to max damage.
In all honesty I would buy them for personal use. I'm not all about profit, otherwise I would be selling so many more things. I am certainly not going to resell anyone elses stuff on my vendor without my name and city tag in it.
I will have to look around Dantoine tonight to see if I can find some. With a decent slice it would beat my 224 max damage VK's nicely.

I bought two unsliced VK's 58-182, speed 2.1 for 6k apiece on Eclpise. There were more there that I could have bought, but I like to use repair kits whenever possible so I'm not throwing creds around.
I would never pay 700k for a weapon. When I was in unarmed, I used a 43-152, speed 1.6 (sliced) VK and a 42-163, speed 1.7 (sliced) VK. total cost was 6k for both of them.
