uc1 > ua bodyhit1 really...the damage mod numbers seem to be off.


and I tested it a lot, killing 100 mobs using uc1 will take less time then 100 mobs with uh3 (talking about mobs with at least 5k ham here)

Combo is spread between 2 pools, even though it looks like your doing more damage, it is actually about the same if not less.

I don't have anything to say to this except that it's completely wrong. There is no way that unarmed combo 1 will kill something faster than unarmed hit 3. I have years of experience with these skills and I know for a fact that's the case. The only possible way for unarmed combo 1 to kill something faster is if for some reason the enemy has a really high action pool and unarmed hit 3 happens to be hitting that pool more by bad luck. The chances of that occuring are slim to none.

Even if combo 1 hits health more than mind, and I can testify that it does (though not as well as body hit) the fact that it does only half the damage of unarmed hit 3 makes it inefficient unless you need an attack that uses a bit less HAM.

It used to be that in PvE (not PvP) if an NPC or creature attacked you they would never hit arms or legs. If you wore a breastplate, helmet, boots, and gloves you'd have everything protected. It was a bug, sometimes called the "reverse armor hole bug". However I've seen some people recently say that the bug might have been fixed because now they're getting hit for lots of damage on occasion if they avoid wearing every piece.

you still only need helmet/chest/boots/gloves.


I know 100% sure thet uc1 > uh3 and have proven it OVER AND OVER to countless TK's on my server.


Duel a friend who's TK, with similar ham, have one sap UH3, the other UC1....the none spamming UH3 will incap FIRST.


We test stuff like this extensively in our guild so I stand by what I say


All the silly TK's using UH3 to do damage are the same TK's that lost duel after duel after duel to me.


In fact about 90% of the TK's out there have no idea what they are doing.....atm I'm commando/carbineer 2002and I beat most in under 2 minutes (exceptions are high defense stackers and /doc template because you can't keep em down on the floor....I still beat them most of the time though, as a lowly commando).

Hmm...seems the jury's still out on this one...thanks for the input, Bloodmonk and Atama. I'll go in game and do some tests and see if I can figure anything out =)

Hi

i use mainly unarmedhit2, it dose good damage and is kind to my HAM , i am always unbuffed and wear no armorand no VK.

Are you doing these tests buffed or unbuffed? If unbuffed it's solely because the UH3 spamming TKA is killing himeself with HAM faster than you.


Now tell me, in PVP, how many times do you get the chance to fight another unarmored/unbuffed TKM who happens to not have medic? UC1 is probably best for no buff dueling tournaments, not for real PVP or PVE.

um... just so you know pants are required. If i target your legs (unarmedleghit1) the damage IS NOT directed to your boots. I have proved this in duel after duel after duel where the foolish people wearing no pants died to me as they scrambled to find WHERE they left their pants in their inventory (however TKMs eat unarmed foes quite well and there is never enough time to put on your pants ) As to bracers and biceps, no they still have yet to fix bracer and bicep damage going (mainly) to gloves and (partially) to your chestplate.

I rarely lose to TKMs (add bad lag on my part and then they might win) and i NEVER use uc1. I HAVE used it before (and found myself losing) and, in the middle of the duel having switched to UH3 (which does drastically more damage as atama was trying to tell you) came back and won the duel.

I, like atama, have been a TKM for along time without having dropped it and have had extensive experience with my TKM moves.

Oh and lastly /love to all you TKMs who fight no armor... I personally like the pixie, brandy, canape, thakitillo + doctor heals, fully armored approach myself (hehe adds some fun to the duels... wasnt fun when i found out no stims were out of crates )

Hehe i never duel armored no fun imho. Armored duels just take way too long.....ive seen tkms go at it for over an hour armored gets boring real quick lol..... Then again ive seen unarmed duels go for 20 mins


As to the moves well i use them all depending on the situation, best move is to think and change not stick to one attack over and over except in some situations.


As to moves my picks are purely on looks


Stun attack (love how it lookes like your pounding the crap out of them)


Leg hit (just looks cool stomping on them specially after you dizzy kd them )


And Head hit (just love how it looks spinning your hands around)
