i NEVER hunt with armor...that includes when i go after enranged rancors. I do however make sure that the buffs i get are over 2400.

when you head out to dathomir (you'll need to be in a big group obviously), just make sure that you dont pop the lair to the point that you are stuck trying to fight off 3 or 4 rancors at once...keep it to 2 and you'll be fine. You can do 3 or 4, but your chances are much slimmer.

Also, i would suggest doing this everyday until the combat balance comes out, after that, i doubt if anyone wil be able to solo anything more difficult than a durni.

There is a thread somewhere, can't be bothered to look right now, that indicates you only really need to wear the boots,chest, gloves and helmet from your armour suit. Now I have tried this myself and it works just fine, and it certainly helps to reduce encumberance abit. The only problem is it increases the wear and tear on those specific pieces, as I noticed when my boots dropped to zero condition and the Krayt me and a friend were fighting started taking big bites out of my action.
