Thread: Solo'd a Kimogala today. So proud....
I am pretty sure I could solo a kimo with my 54% ubese armor, doctor buffs and TKA skills. A dancer buff and a muon gold would help too ![]()
but you have to ask why? a lot of hassle for little reward.
Yeah i could do it with Powerboost, SPices, Doctorbuffs , Muon Gold, Teenage Mutant Ninja Juice, Steroids, A 50caliber machine gun....I mean come on...this person never said they did any of this..they just said they solo'd it and then the NERF Herders cam rushing in to cry nerf...this is obvious guys come on..they are trolling to get us Nerfed! Open you eyes. Who would go through all that money and trouble just to try to solo something like that and just say thier "fencing dodging" skills did it all when in fact fencing dodgin skills only help when you are carrying a sword!
I would not dis something legitimate no matter how far fetched but this is so obvious thay are TROLLERS!
I have no respect for a group of people comming in here hoping the Devs will read about a TKA soloing a creature like that on the premise that they might say "mmmm Maybe we should nerf the TKA a little.." and then the immediate response being "see this is why the tka need to get nerfed"?! How can you guys not see this?
uh, uh..no chance this is trolling plain and simple.
lol
first of all, Komigila isn't CLVL 200+.
It's CLVL 70. The highest level Kimogila there is is the Enraged Dune Kimogila, lvl 120. He said he soloed a Komogila, not something else.
And by the way, they are pretty easy to solo. I saw one the other day on my CH char and i was thinking like.. Hmm should i take the chance? Anyway i went for it without any buffs or anything and my pet (armor 1, kinetic 75%) didn't even drop below 90% health(didn't heal him once) while i killed it easily.
Armor is really underrated, most people think it sucks, but i'd like to see the look on your face when you try to touch me in 90% resist composite set when i'm buffed~

Lol, these threads for trying to nerf another profession in the melee profession are pretty funny. To show you how easy Kimogilas can be to fight....
Pikeman (2-1-4-3) and Gronda(CL18) against an enraged Kimogila. No spice, no doctor buffs, and no armor because I am a wookie. The only thing used was 1 tatooine sunburn and 2 meatlumps if I recall correctly. End of fight = Gronda with 100 health and 1 dead enraged kimogila. If you have not played a pikeman, fencer, or swordsman, then you haven't played a broken profession. TKA's don't need nerfed, they could use some better armor piercing knuckles however. Sucks to only be able to do kinetic attacks. At least with pikeman you get a choice of electrical or kinetic.
Congratulations to any melee professionwho solos a kimogila of whatever flavor. They are a fun creature to kill. Always fun to go up and harvest 600+ meat from a solo kill, but only after it falls on top of you after dying.
Chuu'toii (Pikeman and TKA)

No CH has ever been able to solo one!
Maybe they have....but there isn't a MCH here gloating to everyone that he soloed one now is there?
I would like to point out that anyone that is a Master in 2 elite combat professions can take most any creature if they use their skills wisely -- I myself have solo'd all manner of Kimogilas, ranging from juvenile to Dune to Ancient(?.. not sure if that's the name of the really big ones), and have solo'd Krayt Dragons, again ranging from juvenile to Canyon to Ancient (CL300?). Just to clarify, when I say solo'd, I mean with no creature pets, faction pets and no one in a group with me. All I had going for me was luck and a good working knowledge of my profession skills. Now, if I elect to make use of my CH skills, I quite regularly take on CL100+ MOBs without breaking a digital sweat.
A friend of mine regularly takes on Krayt Dragons with little-to-no risk to himself and never needs anyone in a group with him to do it. I'll give you a hint as to his method: he is part Commando, part TKA and part Smuggler.
Just thought I'd pass that information on; not trying to gloat, only trying to point out that what the thread-starter was doing was not necessarily showboating, just sharing a bit of sweet information. I myself have been considering the Fencing line for a while now.
Holy hell, xeonus, relax. What the hell crawled up your ass? This was a major accomplishment for me. As a TKA, i've always had a hard time killing anything at all, putting up with a lot of **edit**ty nerfs, and get screwed over by anything that has enough intelligence to move. However, i was just sharing this with everyone.I used Fencing abilities and skills within my TKA abilities. This is basically how the fight went:
Saw 2 Kimogala's, one regular, one giant. I waited for them to seperate. About 5 minutes, they got about 45 meters apart, and decided to risk it. I ran in and intimidated, and it luckily landed. I ran off drawing him away from the giant, and when i felt it was safe i stopped and stunned him, and blinded. He was out of range now and meleeing me, my ham was at half, his was at a quarter, so i healed. I then unarmed lunge, ran up, equipped my sword and bled him. Switched back to vk's, 2 unarmed hits, and then reapplied intimidate. I was getting some pretty decent shots in between my moves in as well, and did some nice damage with my sword before i unequipped it. I healed again, and pummelled. Unarmed lunge wore off, but the 30 second timer wasnt up yet, so basically i had to chase him around trying to get under him for about 20 seconds. my mind was extremely low now, and he had about 1/3rd health left. I healed again, bringing my mind to around 130, and then used equilibrium (i love being a zabrak...) and brought it back up. Unarmed lunge, and finally slaughtered it. I took a picture, as i said, and would like to post it if i can get a url to where i can. Shortly afterwards i was promptly desposed of by the giant Kimo that i had forgotten and had sneaken up on me.
