"I remember doing TK grind, and perhaps its gotten easier now, but back when i did it it literly took a week or two weeks to hit novis TK, then another 3 weeks useing exploits to lvl to master. if i had simply leveled tk in a group or what not, it would taken me mover a month easily."

This statement really throws me off so you exploited to get yor TKA? hmm I dont really understand.

Without buffs, armor oraid of pets unarmed exp is tough to get because you WILL die often. This I can fully agree with. Making unarmed exp = hard.

Getting to CH is very easy. That I also can agree with.

"Yesterday a guild mate of mine wanted to do CH, so i took her out and we worked on her exploration and hunting. in about 2 hours time we had her novis CH. in another 5 hours we had her 3/2/1/0"

This I dont really get either I have been grinding CH exp for awhile now and cannot achive 6 skill boxes in a day. Please share with me how this is done. Only way I know of doing this is large hunting groups on harder mobs using lower level pets. If thats how this was achived then I do understand.

Now marksman class I would say have it a little easier than brawler classes only because you can usually do damage from a distance while prone without the mob chewing on you rightaway.

Well I dont know .. Sorry for the hijack.

Wel when explained it really doesnt seem like an exploit to me. Just seems like someone using whats available to them to get thier maximum exp. I would have to say good call. I also found soloing giving better exp than group so I also know where your coming from at that point.

Ialso do the defilers on Dathomir currently to gain my exp.. but I am solo so it's a little bit slower and with my lower level pets tanking for max exp they get beat some so I have a minor bit of down time healing them and regening my mind. But nothing major.

Well Valkari thank you for the Disscusion and not a flame war. As I think these boards are to inform and help.

Thanks,

Itchee

Ok, all of this being said..I need advice.

I am a wookiee TKN and i need to work my way to master...since i am dropping ch in order to do this, the only pet help i will have is my trusty ol' mountain krevol. I am requesting 2 things:

1) Which Planet and/or mob should I be targeting ?

2) What order should I work the skill trees?

Armor is out, but spice buffs are in, so any help would be greatly appreciated...

I would suggest:

1) Which Planet and/or mob should I be targeting ?

I like Tatooine. It doesn't bog you down with terrain graphics, it's not darkall the time, you don't get killed everytime you go out for a walk, and it has everything you'll need all on one planet. There are some great exp mobsthere. Tuskens with rifles are great exp, if you can find a friend or two to group up with or if you want to run out to the Tusken Fort and pick up a group there. Either way, you'll love the fast exp. Also, mountain worrts are great. They don't help each other even when you attack their buddy who is standing right in front of them. You can work mountain worrt lairs for tons of exp quickly. Scyks, some of the bocatts, dune lizards, banthasand a few others are all good exp as you work your way up in TKA.

2) What order should I work the skill trees?

Do the first two boxes of power then the first two boxes of balance. Then, work up the rest of the power tree then finish the balance tree. Do meditation last and let precision work itself up as you go(it takes combat exp not unarmed exp like the other three trees do). Some people like to go up the power tree all by itself first on thetheory that the more damage you do the easier the exp is to get. I personally think you should get the unarmed toughness in the lower two balance boxes before power 3 and 4. Assuming that the mobs you're leveling up with are mostly melee mobs you have less down time that way.

Hope that helps.

I'm 0021 right now. I intend to go 2222, and then decide how to continue from there. The first 2 is to get /powerboost, which is now useful. The second 2 gets me knockdown and then 15 unarmed toughness.

Does toughness subtract before or after armor?

Once you hit Teras Kasi Novice experience is a breeze. You can make well over 100,000+ experience every hour, if not more. I mastered it in about 2 weeks and that includesthe 4-5 or so days that TC was down, so that set me behind quite a bit. There for a while I was leveling at least two levels a day.

Unarmed experience in Brawler is a different story... although now it is not as painful to get as they have been increasing unarmed damage quite a bit lately.
