Thread: Can some one see if this is happening to you to please
Melee Masters not having a root recovery or better terrain abilities is just not right. Unarmed warriors are trained to be quick, nimble, and superior on there feet. Root just gets silly after the 5th time.

4. The post was about Jedi/TK war-balance. I was throwing in my 2 cents about ranged headaches and how melee needs better movement skills since Jedi have speed run.
a post i was looking for. 15 Month i was Pikewook, after cu i respected to TKM/Mpike/doc 4000 and was really happy with
that template. Had a lots of duels jedi/ranged/melee and it was nice tanking and i could heal self nice, also loving as wook the tka armor, dmg was ok.
But in big gcw battles i could nothing do then heal, fight some npc spawns and wait until turrets are out or use my bowcaster to do low ranged damage.
So decided to use my token respec to tkm/mdoc/swords0040/fs melee speed 4. Now i have 10 more melee defense, 70 less general melee accuracy and 20 less general melee speed without doc buff.
Duel against rifleman was same like before, when he rooted me i waited had cob on, healed, but take him down was a lot easier, armor break , kd and hits.
Then before i wanted log i met a jedi i know from the past, so i wanted test my new template.
I was shocked, with food buffs powerboost i had over 5k, used 50% pikata, block food and cob, but i was butter for him.
While my kd worked not well, armor break was no problem it sticked and at least if i didnt miss i could do some dmg.
I used 73% acc food so it was like with old template without food.
70% of the time i was only healing myself, the damage was awesome, i used every possible heal, also 1.2k stims before they ran out. I stand there like a stupid fool, with old template i could tank them and did more dmg with my lv then with armor break + 870 dmg knuckler.
I did 3 duels only in the second i had shortly his health down to 50% before he healed to max.
After the fights i checked my combat log, and i absorbed 50 of 1000 dmg, wow really cool to be a tank.
The same happened to me like to galandroxxx and it was not before pub 19. My old pikeman template worked super , but the last time i could test it was pre pub 19, then was x2 xp and i used the time to grind =)
Will try to test the stuff today, there seems something to be bugged.

ok i tried some more stuff and i think inate armor is messed up versus jedi ablities for some reason the energy damage and the secondary damage types dont seem to be getting resitaded as well as they should i bug reported it just in case.
I got hit for 310 energy damge including elemental damge type of heat and my armor absorbed 60 points i looked 2 times to double cheek to see if i was armor broke or saber broke nothing jsut rooted in place so the way i figured it was .48 for inate armor * 310 damage that should have been my absorbtion right ? that was 148.8 minus that from 310 should have been the damage i took correct? i should have took 161.2 damage if this is right? but i took 249 points of damage after my armor and advanced COB and melee cloths and a defesne of 310 with out cob or drink . I dont know how to figure what percentage that absorbing 60 points is so i caint say exactly what it was but its not 48% even wehn not armor broke if i did the first part of my math correct.
Lightsabers also do Energy damage post-CU. They removed the Lightsaber damage type. I doubt that this is the issue you guys are seeing.

Then by all means please interpret our results. Or maybe you can stage a test to determine why exactly we are seeing such significant differences in damage vs. Jedi attacks rather than any other class?

And I did offer a suggestion. The fixing of Armor Break. I didn't say you guys didn't get hit for over 1k of damage. I just said that I had serious doubts it was because sabers were doing Lightsaber damage. That damage type was removed from the game.
I don't normally do intensive tests, I choose to play my games, not "work" them. I will see if I can talk some of the Jedi in my guild into duels, and see how it goes.

Ever fight someone who knew what the h311 he was doing? The good ranged guys (a good BH / Carb for instance) you don't even get close to if they play right.... "LOL"
