Is this the same guy who has a twin brother and they both do work as miniature sculptures for Games Workshop and Warhammer 40K?

Where is OUR offense??.............IN SWORDS!!!?!?!..........LOL....how did that happen?
I had this same thought when I read this. The devs should have done more homework before deciding which prof to make the tank. From this description, TKA should've ended up with the worst defense and best offense of the melee profs, not the other way around.

I havent read the article but the picture shows a man practicingthe art of Bukti Negara Pentjak Silat Serak
Or something like that. The actual move If i remember correctly is Sapu Luar.
Silat originated in south east asia. Indonesia and malaysia. Practitioners normally wear a sarong.
They sometines use nasty little knives that are not made of the highest quality materials so are often rusty (causes 'orrible wounds). They're also not very hygenic (the knives that is). They have been known to steep the weapons in horse urine and left to fester. If the knife wound doesnt kill you, the resulting infection will.
It is perhaps the most evil brutal martial art I've ever seen. It 'orrible!

Interesting interview.....
He adds to what many of us have thought and felt all along......TKA's should be the checks & balances to Jedi. The CU is totally wrong for the TKA, if anything like was said before, more offense, less defense.
Thanks for posting the interview, it was an interesting read, and I will have to go more in depth into your site to see what all it has to offer.

TKA isnt the check and balance of Jedi, its a fighting style that can work against Jedi, theres a difference.
The Palawans/Bunduki designed Teras Kasi so that they wouldnt be slaughtered by Jedi, not so that they can slaughter Jedi. Over the millenia since it was created, it wasnt really used to hunt Jedi. Look at Phow Ji in Medstar 1
He was fighting a Padawan
who wasnt using a lightsaber
or the Force
and he won.
One swipe of the saber, and she coulda won
With the force, she took him down instantly.
And she was only a PADAWAN.
As a TKM/Swordsman, I can tank a Jedi Knight. I was fighting one for about 11 minutes last night before help came. TKA is plenty strong versus Jedi
As far as it not being offensive enough, it really lets it be up to the user.
a TKM/Swordsman can keep a good defnese by being offensive. COB to stay alive, using sword and TKA skills to keep the opponet weak and healing. If they are busy defending themselves, they are too busy to be attacking you.
Or, alternatly, you could opt for, say, TKM/Pikeman. This allows a Teras Kasi Artist to be more defnesive, keeping his opponet's action low (stunning blow) and the opponets actions slow and weak (warcry/intimidate) as well as doing some decent damage (impale)
TKM is plenty offensive. The only problem I see with it, or melee in general in this game, is many people dont know how to play it.

Actually, Taigei, Phow Ji was a member of the Followers of Palawa. This was mentioned in Medstar 1 I believe.
He also didn't believe in the force as quoted by Holonet News, which is where Phow Ji was first mentioned in the EU:
"Joclad's failure is just further proof that this ‘force' is nothing more than a myth perpetuated as an excuse to retain power," said Ji (19-0), the home-planet favorite.
This is not to say that all Follower of Palawa were skeptical of The Force, but they werent force users as a whole.
Im sure Ji could've put up a fight against the force using Padawan, but I wouldn't have bet money on him. A knight, who is also using a light saber, would be a tough fight for a Teras Kasi user to take alone.
Hate to be the wet towel on the TKA fire, but I question the usefullness of a lone Teras kasi user against a Jedi in a fight.

The CUSWE (www.theforce.net/swenc/) is very careful about what they print. If its nto published in a book/licensed source, it doesn't go on their site.
They have on their site as him being a Follower of Palawa, and I'm pretty sure I remember him being mentioned as such in Medstar 1
