DPS=Victory
TKA With 46-180 VK(Which Cost Sliced 20k)
DPS= 430, Across All Specials, 350 Mitigated
Rakririan Burnout Sauce Increases TKM DPS By 12, Their is No Similar Increase In DPS Available To Any Other Profession, Bringing Their DPS To 362 Mitigated.
Swordsman With248-430 2.4 Scythe(Which Cost 800K) 2.0 Speed With Speed Powerup
Before Mitigation
DPS= 537.5, Base Attack, Headhit3= 477, Two Hand Hit3=430
After Mitigation
DPS= 401, Base Attack, Headhit3= 356, Two Hand hit 3= 285
Mitigation Was Created To Insure TKM Dominance
Shoot, I have to pay 800k for an uber scythe, to match TKM Dps by 6 points, when that advantage is completely blown out of the water due to food. Food cost 10k, VK's 20 K.
A Fairer And Much More Accurate Comparison Of The Two Classes
1. Accuracy- Base Accuracy, TKM Is 47% More Accurate Than A MHS
2. Speed- TKM Is 45% Faster Than A MHS
3. Melee Defense- TKM Melee Defense 3 Times Greater Than A MHS
4. Ranged Defense- TKM Ranged Defense 3 Times Greater Than A MHS
5. Toughness- TKM Toughness Is 25% Greater Than A MHS, Making DPS Disparity Greater
Notions Of Swordsman Advantage Debunked
1. Dizzy- TKA Posesses Combat Equilibrium,Making This 'Weakness' Laughable
2. Stun- Stun Attacks Lowers Ones Defenses, Swordsman Have Few, This 'Protection' Is Laughable
3. Intimidate- The Only Hope For The Inaccurate Swordsman To Strike TKA, Whilst On
Ones Back Due To Knockdown. A Success By The Swordsman Against TKM,
Results In Halved TKM Defenses, Still 25% Greater Than A Swordsman Thereby,
And Cuts TKM DPS By Half. The Loss Of An Attack In Implementing Intimidate By The
Swordsman, Lowers His DPS By Half For One Round, Due To A Lost Round. Low 20
Intimidate Defense, Makes The Battle OfIntimidate Not One Sided, And Comparative
Halved DPS For Both Classes, As Well Their Defenses, Still Results In Victory By The
TKM
Ask The Brawler Correspondent For Any Confusion Related to Intimidate. I Have It Correctly.
No Matter What I Do, The Number Wont Let Me Win
So according to this we have to nerf weaponsmiths because they sell their weapons for too much, and nerf chefs because they sell food to tka? Just shut your mouth and play the game instead of coming here and copy/pasting..

Troll-ness aside... I'm assuming this is what you're referring too...
"It will also allow Mind to be removed as a special damage type and place equal emphasis on Health, Action and Mind pools for both abilities and damage. "
Honestly I do not see anywhere in there where they are saying Mind damage can be healed. Course I might be quoting from the wrong area... or the wrong notes even, but who knows.
Also, not all of this is going in on Pub 8 if I remember correctly. The combat balance stuff is being spread out. They cannot possibly get everything they want in in one publish. The different "aspects" were going to be implemented seperately from how I've read things.
So basically... to me it seems you have nothing to complain about, since I cannot find anything about healing mind damage anywhere in the notes. And if it is in there somewhere, you should have more than just Publish 8's time table to still be "safe" from this. You gotta remember, if this is true, I'm pretty sure you'll be able to heal mind damage too, not just TKs.
As a last note... why in God's name does it really matter if TK can beat a swordsmen? Alternately why would it matter if a swordsmen could beat a TK? They are different professions, the only thing they have in common is they are both melee. To me it seems kinda gimpy when peopel complain that Profession X cannot beat Profession Y. The game wasn't just designed for PvP so judging the quality of two professions on whether or one can beat another is bunk. Obviously a Pikemen is going to beat a Doctor. Does that mean Pikemen are better than doctors? In combat yes, but lets see a Pikemen buff or cure disease/poison like a Doctor can.
So stop sulking about it, you just make yourself look bad.
Good info but all he does is cry that TKA's beat him up all the time... No sense arguing with him..
