I wear a full suit of 39% Composite Armor (Minus gloves and boots since I am trandoshan). But make sure you get it ENCUMBERANCE sliced. I have a master smuggler friend who is very lucky when it comes to slicing, I had to buy a couple new pieces just because he sliced it for effectivness which is not what I wanted.

Ican tank probably twice as long and take tons more damage. I have hot keys to switch from street clothes and back to armor for downtime and healing purposes. I have all my mind stats pumped to max and I am a Master TKA with Rifleman Novice and Doctor Novice. I am a beast in Pve and PvP. Don't let anyone tell you that armor is not good for TKA they don't know what they are talking about.

Just remember to SLICE ENCUMBERANCE and you will be good to go.

I try not to go for the Samurai look as I see many swordsmen and TK do.

I have a Black Short-Sleeved Jacket (No shirt, so bare-chested), Black Cargo Pants with a Maroon Stripe, and Black Sturdy Boots with Olive Wraps. Nothing too tremendous here.

However I DO like my combat attire right now. Armorweave Boots, Helmetand Leggings, and Chitin Chest and Arms. Makes me look unique to mix and match armor.

i wear nothing that indicates anything as far as profession. i unequip all weapons in town and i never use a title. why advertise anything? kinda defeats the RP'ing aspect of the game too. if you think the novice entertainer you're about to duel is just that...then you can buy this moon I own orbiting Naboo...only 12 billion credits and it's yours!!! send me a /tell in game and we'll work the deal out. planets and moons won't fit in the trade window but i swear i own it and i'm not a liar. i swear!!!

martial arts gi's are of this world not SWG so (IMO) they don't belong. (even though luke was basically wearing a gi tunic in SW:ANH). there are no samurai, ninja, or karate experts in SWG. nothing even remotely similar (otherwise TKA's might actually be viable as a class..other unarmed classes too...then again..i can't imagine even jett lee knocking down a grizzley bear with one punch so go figure).

i do however have a black fetish...everything i have is black. in fact...i'd like to finish my ubese set in all black so if you or someone you know sells black ubese armor, let me know. i need black bracers, pants, and a helmet if the specs are good.

is there black composite armor? not dark gray or dark blue but black?

and i do have my halloween costume (most of it anyway). but i can't tell you what it is....(altho, halloween is on a friday and i doubt in the extreme i'll even be on at all but still...)

Trando, with a dark green plain robe, straw hat, black leather belt, rank sash, and finally, because I'm the only person on our server to figure this out... grey chitin shoulder pads because you can wear armor shoulder pads with plain robes.

The effect is striking.

Right now I wear a black cloak, brown sunguard, black ribbed shirt with gold stripe on the arms, black ribbed pants with gold stripe down the side, with my thermal boots. It all goes together pretty good.
