Put a loot drop out that is a laser sharpener PUP (more then 100 uses, maybe 1000) that makes it into a AP2 weapon. It should be rare, like 1 or 2 drop a day.


What do you think?

I think if TKA gets a new VK, it should be a rarer type of dmg...acid or electric sure, but NOT stun..also the VK shouldn't be an easy speed cap like the vk we have now...make crafted ones about as fast as the current PH...tka already owns but their lack of anything besides kinetic dmg CAN be a problem...if they get a different dmg type as well, the vk should either be slower then the kinetic one, or should do a bit less dmg...ok theres my 2 cents.


EDIT: NO idea why this came out green...color thing says it should still be normal.

The only difference between the two is the shape of the weapon. Stun damage in SWG is supposed to be similar to what a stun gun or tazer do; a painful electric volt that shocks you. (Not to be confused with electric damage which actually electrocutes you.)

It currently doesnt matter what dmg type the knuckler has unless its stun right now. Comp/sentinal/hunting armors have huge amounts of stat defense except for stun and lightsaber. Ubese/mountain/defender have some but a not a lot and i dont ever see any lower armor being warn. To be honest youll have to wait until combat revamp. I dont think they want to give us stun right now. We do a crap load of dmg as it is if i can solo 5 mokks as a novice tk with ease and my master pikeman was having problems its a bit bad. Once the combat revamp hits wait until what happens to armor. Then ask for a new dmg type thats the most logical thing to do. If the combat revamp changes somethign with armor and we have a weapon that does certain dmg maybe it might be effected.

Ah yes but people use knuckledusters and ar classed as unarmed, this is just a SW version of it

Id like to see a blast knuckler, every hit makes a small explosion, causing the skin of the victim to tear and bleed

Finnaly some one whos willing to trade. Simply giving tks a new dmg type or better ap is stupid. It shouldnt be done. TKA is one of the best balenced profs besides the limitation of one damage type. That is a huge limitation I admit but you shouldnt expect to just get better. You have to compromise. You want another dmg type? Ok fine, you cant use it speed capped. Want AP2? ALright, Its accuracy will suck. You more then willing to point out that swordsmen get to choose between blast and kinetic but, to do that swordsmen have to take a huge drop in speed and a huge drop in accuracy.


I'm sorry if this sounded like a flame I didnt mean it too but, you cant expect to just gain. You have to be willing to give something up as well.

incorrect CHs (TH said specifically they are a combat prof) only deal kin dm unless they take up a 2nd proffesion except TK (like i did)

how hard would it be to run an electric current throught the blunt end of the VK? Have it take some dm away because it would draw the electrical power from the VK's motor and cause it to vibrate slower... just give it ap1

heat would also be plausible just add an extra craftable/lootable item to a standerd vk that would generate heat, up the dm but give it ap0

Well I havent botherd to read all the pages posted on this thread yet, so I dont know if this has been mentioned yet. But since, as of right now, TK's only have 1 weapon with 1 Damage Type, why not make these Razor Knucklers be available in a variety of Damage types to make up for our lack of Weapons/Damage Types.


Now Im not saying 1 particular item with a bunch of different Damage Types, i.e. Razor Knuckler #1 with Kinetic, Heat, Blast, Elec. Damage. But Instead like this: Razor Knucker #2 Kinetic Damage, Razor Knucker #3 Heat, Razor Knuckler #4 Blast.


This would at least make up for us not having a variety of weapons. I mean, if we arent ever gonna get a bunch of different weapons to choose from, allow us the option of Different Damage Types.


As far as Weapons and DamageTypes, TK is the most SHAFTED profession in the game. As far as I know, every other profession has at least 2 differnt Weapons, with Differnt Damage types. Even Poor old Commando have 2 Primary Weaponswith 2 different Damage Types, as screwd as that is.


What do we have.... VK's with Kin. Damage, which is probably the Easiest to find Armor that Defends that.
