Thread: TKM/Fencer or TKM/Rifleman?

Hi...if I want a char, that is elite at PVE and can take on uber mobs solo. Which would be the better combo, TKM/Fencer or TKM/Rifleman?
I know that Tkm/Rifleman is good at PVP but I have no idea about PVE.
I really need help deciding so any input would be greatly apreciated.

There is of course no uber template, but I personally prefer TK/Rifleman with Novice Fencer (just for the added melee/ranged defense mod). That way I feel safe whether I'm attacking long range or short range..

I hear Fencer's area attacks are amazing. With CoB, I also hear some Fencers can take on Rancors without armor.

I'm doing TKM/Fencer at the moment, maybe combining meditate IV with fencer + a ranged prof would be cool?

cant a tkm solo a rancor w/o armor and buffs jw i thought it was possible??

when i was a rifleman i was dealing mass dmg in pve.. i could easily beat out other people for loots when killing high ham mobs.

i am rifle tk and can kill anything pve in the game when buffed...nothing better in my book

I can solo Bull Rancorlairs without buffs or armor. But I am also a master creature handler 
Without creatures I can solo them one at a time. I might be able to do more if I had a ton of stims andaccaragm/brandy to keep my specialssuicide from happening.
With armor/buffs I can breeze through a bull rancor lair.
PVP on the other hand I die very quickly. TKM just isn't what it used to be with all this composite armor.

So can a rifleman. The biggest bonus to us TKM/RIflemen is the varity of things we can do. We get a damage type for everything PvP in the game so nothing is 100% resistant to us and we can handle threats at all ranges. You also get melee and ranged mitigations which helps when fightng multiple opponents with various melee/ranged professions.

yes a TKM by itself can solo just about anything easily with buffs and armor cept a krayt..
without buffs and armor you can still solo a kimo or a rancor pretty easily...
but then again who is running around without buffs these days?
