Zeladrijn was the first. Ariakas, the second TKM, was simply the duelingest, berserkest Ninja ever, and he emodies Hands of Steel - I only know of one time he was defeated in a duel, and that was to Zeladrijn when Zel first unleashed the Spitting Rawl. Ariakas was famous for his Krayt Hunts at a time when armor didn't work and Krayts were the baddest things in the galaxy.
Eirie Noh, third TKM, might be held up as an example of something, but I'm not sure what. She is the founder of Noh Dojo and TKO, is the most ancient TK still playing, and certainly devoted to the understanding and evolution of TK, and the development of the TK community.
To give you an idea of our influence, vibroknucklers and how Force of Will works are among our credits.

it wasnt me that was the first but the founder of the guild.
and yes we were responsible for the introduction of VK's into the game as a combat balance to leveling TKA in PvE and also Force of will in its current incarnation.

Want a cookiee? You dont really need to gloat on theese boards even though you may have brought theese particular items in. Also, Force of Will used to NOT have a timer, so I dont know if this is an improvement...?

i wouldnt say it was gloating, there was another thread on the bria forum that mentioned 'who was the first' in any particular profession, as a byway i just thought to share the information here to.
so dont get your knickers in a twist over a harmless bit of SWG history...

Lol I'm a cynic. Sorry. Hand to Hand fighters, monks (TK Artists) and hand to hand styled weapons, ulaks (VKs) aren't exactly a new thing to SOE =P. However just like in EQ ulaks did not come to the game until later on, as with SWG, is the same case. So your order suggested the idea of VKs, (again here is the cynic): Am I to understand TKO has no players that had monks (esp as mains) in EQ? Whom were very familiar with the concept of hand to hand support weaponry?
So either way the idea was ultimately SOE's (lets not get into ulak styled weapons are very real in the world of martial arts so its still not exactly an original idea or invention =P). Just where your claim of TKO's epiphany for having VK's were, is teh remaining debate. I guess koodos to telling SOE they should make hand to hand weapons (besides the fist) in SWG. Was it your idea to add colored lights on the handle of the VKs so it's technologicalsuperior to EQ's ulak? /sarcasm off.
Your list of first's. Are those SOE published first's? Are they what you can find in the archives here? Seriously, I don't know I'm asking....It sounded like you were saying 1st, 2nd, 3rd, oldest and such are all in your guilds that you have created, such as TKO. That did sound like gloating to me. If thats the case, was bria the first server? Are all those names on the server you play on? Are there servers that existed during beta but no more? Were there TKM's before servers in beta got reset and some folks had to start over?
On the other hand, Congrats to those would be. And as a TKM myself it is a warm feeling that the best dueler you know, a TKM, only lost once, and that to not only another TKM, but the first =).

Edit sorry:
title "ever wondered who the first TKM....the game?"
*My main point was it may be the first, second, third, oldeston the server, but is it truly the first, second, etc.in the game?
For the gloating comment, I meant to add this lil' adage:
"If one person tells you there is a glass on the table, think about it. If two or three people tell you there is a glass on the table.....there is a glass on the table."

I don't remember you in beta. I know that I myself got a few changes in for brawlers. I started a huge stink about how (at the time) we couldn't attack unless we stood still for 2 seconds, which meant that if a ranged opponent just moved around a little we couldn't hit them. Eventually the devs agreed that it was a serious problem and fixed it.
Also, I got a loading fix done the last few weeks of beta. I was even quoted in a fix thread at the time.
See, it used to be that your body was present in the game world before the game actually finished loading, so if you logged in and happened to have strong aggro enemies around you, you'd be dead before you even got all the way into the game.

Not sour. Just incredibly skeptical, especially those of us who have been around for a LONG time.
