As a TKA I have to say that I am pleased with all of todays changes for a number of reasons:

1) Combat is more interesting in both PvP and PvE because I am now forced to use the wide variety of specials that I have acquired on my way up the ladder. (and on a positive note the damage on those specials went up today... ofcourse nobody seems to mention that).

2) No doubt that TKA is now much more difficult (as is every other profession with a knockdown) but I also see this as a positive thing: Bye bye min-maxers - hello true artists.

3) the reduced damage in PvP has greatly increased the chances for a melee fighter... considering a TKA can deal out an insane amount of damage in short period of time.

I mean, no doubt it is dissapointing, in some respect, that I can't go to dathomir and solo multiple rancors at once... but wait, should I have been able to do that to begin with? Think of it that way, try to see it from the other perspective. Without changes of this nature I would have easily explored all of the advanced planets from one end to the other within a matter of a month or two from launch, leaving me with much to desire.

I agree that it was a bad move to give so much then take it away... but we are all reasonable beings here... well, atleast pretend to be... and realize if the game was released this way there would be no complaining - in fact, you'd probably enjoy everything a lot more - prior to today the sense of accomplishment in reaching TKA master or soloing insane creatures was pretty low.

To sum up... No matter how you feel about the changes, soak it up. They are here, they are likely going to stay. Learn to fight better or move on to entertainer.

You think it's fair that a Pistoleer that isn't even a master should be able to pistol whip us 9 times in a row WITH THEIR WEAPON EQUIPPED... and allow us only 2?

You are a TKA what? How many millions of exp have you earned? And tell me how you are going to get to master now? Yeah, things are fun now, you have to think, so how are you going to get the millions of exp it takes to get to master? I'm glad you like the patch, just wondering how it is going to be for you when you get to fighting something other than level 1-3 difficulty. We are so screwed, you have no clue.

also, don't forget... over the next few days you are going to see knucklers with MUCH lower HAM costs...

I am not screwed. I am 800k xp away from master. I can still make that in one night.

I beg to differ. I fought a pistoleer today and he pistolwhipped me about 8 times before his action bar was empty. I, on the other hand, was unable to get a hit in.

It doesn't matter how low the costs are KD will still cost 2x more then it did.

Vegan, you are sadly unaware of how gimped you became today. I would guess you're novice tera kasi. Enjoy your very long and unfulfilling climb up the TK trees. You don't seem to realize that later on in the trees, knockdown becomes a necessity in killing even white con mobs. You won't even realize your gimpness for weeks, until you can't take a white con anymore.

The rest of us are trying to save the profession, and folks like you come along saying all is well, and if you can't take it bugger off. I can only assume you're a novice, a troll, or both.
