Do you wear them while in game? For instance, if you're a Teras Kasi Master do you walk around with that title above your head?

I like to PvP. My favorite method of PvP is grouping with overts and letting things heat up and then surprising my opponents. I think wearing TKM tags islike to giving your opponent advice on the most effective way to fight you.

I totaly agree... If you really wanna be sly... carry around a laser rifle or some kind of ranged weapon to make your oppoent charge you to close the distance then pull out your VK or just go unamed and do your thing

What choice do I have? The **edit** thing flips back on every time I hop off of a shuttle

I leave mine title on most of the time because I enjoy a good duel and by leaving it on I wind up with some tells now and then asking for a friendly duel, which is fun while you're waiting for the shuttle or some such thing.

If I'm ever fighting groups of PCs though I tend to go after the people who have the Novice Entertainer tags set because you just know they're trying to fool you and I prefer to get rid of the unknown factors first.

I'd rather have no title, but it keeps resetting itself all the time.

Right now I'm using my Battlemaster title from Swordsman. I'll probably eventually use Cleaver, even when I'm master swordsman on top of TKM. I pick titles based on how cool they are. I could care less what people think I am in PvP. Its not like it will matter. Either way one of us will be dead soon... having Teras Kasi Master over my head isnt going to change that.

I use my ranger title: master trapper or master hunter or wayfarer. I wore my master title the day I got it (this morning) because I was proud.

I take that back. When I'm out on Dantooine with a huge hunting group, I'll carry my master tag. Why? Because there are other TKA's out there trying to level. When I got Med4, I had the monk title up and had three tells in two hours asking for training. I didn't need apprentice points, but now that I'm down to half the apprentice points from before, I want to max them out again. I will master Ranger, and once I do that.... So, the only purpose is to gain AP points on hunting planets.

Even though I'm a Master BE (and TKN/Ranger), I often wear my "Breeder" title from Cloning IV. Just makes me laugh to see it up.

It is advantageous to wear your profession tag when you are in need of apprentice points. TK is popular these days, I get a lot of /tells asking for training.

Nope, I wear my Slicer tag, and carry a dx2. Slicing pays my bills, and when I get Master Smuggler I'll wear that tag. To me, it goes along with my little Role Playing I like to do. If folks want to duel me, then let them make that mistake . I do wear mine on Dath, though, when I'm broke and I am doing baz nitch missions for an easy 17k (slicing terminals is great!) each. This way I can train those that need it, like I did when I was leveling on Dath.

I have never set a title because of that.

i'm using my scout "hunter" title for now until i have something along the lines of the rifleman titles

then again, i've only really pvp'd once so it hasn't been too much of an issue

**edit** my desire to actually want to sell things as a master tailor... now i'm stuck with a title for life

no title is the way to go but like soo many others it resets every time we hop on /off a shuttle......
