At the end Zo'so did do a headshot but it was not on the oneI was fighting.I was unarmed wearing only clothing so just innate master TK armor. My other profession is creature handler which I do get a +10 to hit creatures from scout. Pretty sure I had COB on the entire time.


You could break this down to hits, misses, total damage done, damage ranges for attacks etc.

I have extensive logs on fights with CL80-82 Bols, but they are much too long to post here. Most of my fighting was done unarmed so I could test different moves from the TK and sword trees for action cost, damage, accuracy, etc.The problem you are going to face when trying to do this is the difference in weapons and gear from person to person, if you want exact compairisons of course. If you want arough estimate then I would be more than happy to participate.

You bet. A fight log of one fight like mine I don't think is too much too post. Include any information concerning your log. I don't think anything like this has really been done before so any input would help. Even if you the only one who posts a fight log at leastI have something to compare mine to.

I'd like the help of the anyone willing to contribute numbers. My main goal is to get as many and as accurate numbers as possibe.


How to go about this?


First I'd say use your combat log in verbose for loggging purposes. To get even numbers across the boardI suggest:


1. the test creature be even across the field say a level 80 bol

2. test different weapons and unarmed

3. take into account clothing modifiers

4. take into account armor or innate armor and say what you are using

5. time your log say for a minute

6. document moves like armor break, dizzy, intimidate, warcrayetc or just don't use any and get a base log


Your only master combat profession should be teras kasi, swordsman, or pikeman.


What I hope to see are at least a couple people with comparable numbers that could be considered an accurate test of combat for TKA, swordsman, and pikeman. This will make it very evident who can take and deal damage. I'll try and come up with a way to do this in game that anyone can follow or if you have an idea please share.

Ok first off what is with the consistant damage? Where is the variable damage? Once something hits you for 124 you can bet the entire fight it's going to hit you for that. Ditto with the weapon variable damage listed on your hammer or pretty much anything, once you hit for 443 you can bet that's what you will hit for the entire fight. Not counting special moves, damage is so cut and dry it's not funny.


Avoidance? I counted 22 misses out of 89 attacks in all of those logs by the enemy. Would need to compare to swords, pike, even BH or rifleto see average miss rates. Taking armor into account.


The numbers for hit, absorb, and possible don't add up but I'm guessing we mitigate 48% roughly, and I'm assuming you had COB on all of those fights sinceI saw your alarm for it. The creatures had around a 40-45% armor reduction.


Going from a 530-550 possible to an 880 with the hammer was pretty sickening. I'd like to see some swordsman, pikeman (armor and weapon) logs too. I'm sure you could get a lot more data from these as well.I wonder just how much of a role weapon speed plays or if melee hit and the new specials just run off thier own cooldown timers.


How did you get the time included in one of them?


Anyone else out there even care about the numbers? lol maybe most people just push the attack buttons and hope it dies before they do?

First I'd say use your combat log in verbose for loggging purposes. To get even numbers across the boardI suggest:


1. the test creature be even across the field say a level 80 bol

2. test different weapons and unarmed

3. take into account clothing modifiers

4. take into account armor or innate armor and say what you are using

5. time your log say for a minute

6. document moves like armor break, dizzy, intimidate, warcrayetc or just don't use any and get a base log


Your only master combat profession should be teras kasi, swordsman, or pikeman.


What I hope to see are at least a couple people with comparable numbers that could be considered an accurate test of combat for TKA, swordsman, and pikeman. This will make it very evident who can take and deal damage. I'll try and come up with a way to do this in game that anyone can follow or if you have an idea please share.


Anything to add or suggest please do.

What are you trying to acomplish? In terms of damage dealing, its swordsman (easy to get 1100+ max dmg power hammers)then fencers( easy to get 1040 max dmg sword) , then pikeman (900-1000 max dmg pikes) then TKM (whatever max dmg is on bare hands, other higher level weapons are too rare to be considered into the equasion)


The KEY is armorbreak from the 0030 swordsman line, that helps so much its not even funny.

you can see for yourself how the TKM specials dont even have the same damge multiplier as the fencer or swordsman melee attacks do.

Yeah, I constantly look at the numbers, hence the reason I have so many logs. Yes I always had Improved CoB running except in a couple instances where I was testing some healing. I agree that armor break makes a huge difference and normally would apply it every chance I get. From my studies the multipliers regardless of weapon are as follows (Melee Hit is base multiplier).


Melee Strike = 1.1x


Advanced Combo = 1.5x


Head Hit = 1.6x


Power Attack = 1.7x


Improved Head Hit = 1.7x


Improved Crit Strike = 1.8x


Improved Power Attack = 1.9x


Melee hit and specials run off seperate times only if triggered seperately. Basically you can run melee hit as your auto attack and then queue special attacks as they are ready and you will interject the special on the melee hit time. You pretty much have to alternate melee hit, special, melee hit, special in order to maintain the fastest recycle time. Note that heals, CoB, and state cures often throw the timing off on your specials giving them a longer cooldown than normal.


As far as how I got the timestamp, you go into chat options and click the timestamp button. I forgot the exact location of the option.
