Thread: The holocron said Teras kasi master and i was given condolances ...
by friends for it was supposed to be a hard skill to master.
So can u give tips on the grinding part and on the template choices. I am actually liking this profession and i knew starting with the holos i am not going for a fast "Mastering all to get an FS slot by yesterday" mission but i want ot use the Jedi thing to see what other professions there are and enjoy what i am doing at that moment.
Atm i have:
Creature Handler: Master (if possible i want to keep the master)
Scout: 4-0-4-2
Marksman 0-4-0-4 (having a kraytedition (prepatch) FWG5 i really want to keep)
Brawler: 3-0-0-0
Medics 3-2-1-2
Entertainer 0-4-0-2 (that i will give up completely..giving 34 skillpoints)
and 2 skillpoints left
Atm i am using the special moves Unarmedhit 1 and Unarmedstun a lot on low mobs around the cities on Tatooine. Wearing full armor (Marco weave 16% protection average).
Thanks already for your help :-]

Umm, no, don't look for a Rifleman......he will only hinder your progress..........First off we dont' have a KD/Dizzy combo move, but we can use 2 separate moves that might work....Dizzy doesn't stickwell, and long range posture changes we have don't stick well either.......Yeah if we're lucky we can do it in 2 shots....but realistically, the good days it takes4 shots...accounting for misses and non sticks......the norm is 5-6 shots, and that's if we're lucky enough to be using these moves while someone is distracting the said opponent.
so let's say it takes4 shots......when using that special it takes about5 seconds for me to recharge.....that's already 20 seconds into the combat.....so no, don't look for a Rifleman......Our dizzy doesn't stick well, and it will eat up your XP......And don't give me this Master BS......Rifleman isn't exactly the most fun or easiest to Master.....not as much as Tera Kasi Artist as I remember it anyway......I mastered TK...........dropped it already anyways......
Hahaha!
Are you joking!? TKA is so much FUN to master! You're gonna make a LOT of cash, and you'll be able to advance very quickly. I feel sorry for whoever had/has difficulty, because they are doing something wrong ![]()
Anyways, buy set of Adv. Ubese armor, which should run you somewhere around 60k. If you can afford it (and since you got a holocron, I'm sure you can), you might just get a set of composite. Don't forget to get it all sliced. Also, once you get TKA novice, get some Vibroknuckles.
Medic skills are important at this point. Very simply, it makes life a million times easier. If you don't have a lot of free skill points, than JUST get pharamacology IV. Then go talk to a master doctor, and have him make you a crate of30ish Stim D's that have ease of use experimented down to 40. I'll tell you now though, without medic skills your TKA journey will be 10x as difficult. You will probably also need to allocate more stat points to your mind bar/regeneration until you reach what you consider to be an ideal combination.
At this point you will need to just figure out what is best for you to kill. I think I was hunting on Naboo and Talus. When I was (0-2-2-1) I was on Yavin IV. Chances are you can take a lot of red cons with no problem - around 60+% kinetic resist is incredible! Don't do special moves, just go berserk!
Once you have about (0-2-3-2)ish skills, head over to dathomir. Group up, and do Kamurith missions. You will be the tank. Don't worry about being the tank, you'll probably find it fun to really command the scene. Moreover, you're proabably going to end uphogging the experience anyways.
Happy TKAing

KD2 does have knockdown and dizzy, and it is a TKA skill. If I recall correctly, lunge 2 is the master brawler skill.
All that aside, the really tough part of TKA is the unarmed brawler tree. Get yourself the fastest VK you can find to help your speed. As someone else mentioned, bleed damage is unassigned, so if you bleed a creature, and do no other direct damage besides unarmed, you'll get full unarmed xp for the kill even if you only punch it once.
Once you hit TKN, and especially once you get power and balance 1, you'll start ot have a lot of fun.
Condolences for TKA?
Ha!
TKA is a breeze.
Be lucky you weren't told to master Pikeman.

I'm not 0-2-3-2 yet, but last night I ran into another novice ranger (I'm ranger/tka). We decided to group and do some dewback, bantha hunting. Well, as we're out, we ran into a spawn of greater desert womp rats. With traps, and tka KD/blind/stun/dizzy/warcry combos, the rat would come up after about 10 seconds.
I'd deal most the damage, and the other ranger would shoot the rat with his gun since he's going up the gun route. I certainly agree that tka's definitely hog the experience because we are the tanks indeed. The greater womp rats provide around 1900-2500 xp per head so it's nice for those not in the mid-range tka yet. To top it off, when we were waiting for more rats to spawn, there were dewbacks about 80m north of us. I gathered about 80k xp and learned a number of good battle techniques that'll help me out in the future. It'll make me a better fighter in the long run.
