New weapons for those that dont need it, but TK's get the shaft..

Im a TK/DOC but this is ridiculous.

i heard that we actually do get a new weapon
looks like the blaster fist with some better stats

You're right, the stats are incredible. However it cannot be sliced or PuP'd so I'm gonna hang on to my KoK.

I'm pretty confident all the new weapons can be sliced and pupped now....but still I'm going to miss my KoK - it has shown me some pretty good times

That was the original idea, but now maybe it can be sliced... guess it'll be the new KoK...

anyone got a screenie of this weapon?
and from what i gathered the only weapons that cant be sliced/pupped have that in the description, something about its incredible quality so it cant be sliced/pupped

Forget where, but I have seen a screenshot of this, and at the time it was labeled as "too high of a quality" and could not be modified. The question is whether or not this has been changed... I'll see if I can track down the screenshot...
EDIT: Found the screenshot: Guardian Blaster Fist. According to this it cannot be sliced/PUP'd. This makes sense as otherwise it would be incredibly better than the KoK or Nightblade. It is energy damage however, so maybe carry this around to beat up on Bounty Hunters and Commandos in their pretty Composite. /shrug

yeah I'm pretty sure that this will remain unslicable/unpuppable which is really disappointing as it doesn't compare to the CL55 weapons the other professions are getting which can be sliced!

If this is the case, it is very likely we have an additional weapon on *approx* the same level that simply hasn't been advertised. This is the case w/ many other professions as well. I guess we'll just have to wait and see...

I hope you are right! and if you are, I'm a little annoyed with all the TKMs that were on beta for not loking harder in those frogs
