Tonight I was showing my bro how broken TKA KD was. I attacked a Cornellian butterfly lair with knockdown, and was wearing armour and v-knuckles. The KD cost me 900+ ham.

When I hit the lair a BABY butterfly spawned and Incapacitated me...............................

Need I say more?

Then we get another nerf in the form of a 30 second timer. No thanks. No more SWG for me

Hmmm... WhyDID you attack a lair with KD? I presume you were attempting to prove a point.

And point taken. I will never use KD while wearing armor and with equiped VK. Good thing to know.

Did you read my post?

I was attacking to show my brother why I quit and how bad knockdown was.

I didnt think a baby would spawn and own me.........

I'm sure the Butterfly would not have killed you if you had used the KD in the first place at an inappropiate time.

It's not really a very good example.

Perhaps if you had been solely attacking the butterfly and had been incapped, then it would have been a better example of why TK is borked.

However you would probably had won the battle, if you had had any health left.

And you would have had health if you had not attempted to use a skill with high cost, while wearing encumbering armor, and carrying a VK.

Once again, point taken.

I think some of you are missing the point. Of course it isn't the smartest method but still, a baby shouldn't be able to incap anyone after 1 attack. I don't care what armor, weapons, or attack, unless the attack is actually called "kamikaze" then it is rediculous.

"Of course it isn't the smartest method but still, a baby shouldn't be able to incap anyone after 1 attack."

How many HAM points did he have after performing his "example"? If he only had one 1 point, then its quite possible for the butterfly to "own" him.

Babies hit for the same amount as their adult variations, they just have fewer HAM points.

Don't make me repeat myself it's bad for my health.

Oh ok, I guess I'll have to: a baby shouldn't be able to incap anyone after 1 attack.

I find it funny that people do not realize the point of this post........

It is to show how FUBARED the TKA is, and how we have become the new commando of this game

People still can't quite grasp this, the point isn't that a baby can incap someone who has 1hp left. The point is that after doing only 1 attack you shouldn't be left with only 1hp, regardless of armor, weapon choice, and attack.

I'm with ya bigritchie. I've KDed small things with VKs on by accident and ended up in the same situation. It's russian roulette to even have the things in the toolbar.

Guys, its very easy. Dont use KD with VK's on. Say it with me Dont use KD with VK's on. If for some reason you cant remember if VK's are on its also very simple. Drag your VK's to your quickbar. When they are equiped the button will be Black (or darker than normal depending on your interface colors). When they arent equiped the button is the same color as every other button. Now if you cant understand the colors (i.e your colorblind or stupid) then make a simple macro that unequips VK's, does KD, then equips VK's. Now if you still are pissed that you just took 100-200 dmg to do a KD even with VKs off then i suggest you do this: make a macro that lunges twice, dizzy's, lunges again (just incase), then pick off with any styles you want. This works on both human and animal mobs (although you wont see the animation of them falling, they just wont attack you for the duration). Now, to reiterate one more time. dont use KD with VK's on.

This class is not "fubared" as some people call it. I am 2 meditate blocks away from TKM and if you use the right strategy you can kill any nym, any pirate on lok, any snorbal, any baby butterfly, any baby grass snake, or anythign else you guys have been complaining about being killed by. I can post screenshots if you want, of me completely unbuffed, no armor, no spice, killing a nym if you want me to, to prove that you can do these things.

Does any other combat class have to take their weapons off to attack? That statement alone should tell you this class is BoRKED

Does a entertainer have to take there instrament out of their mouth when they sing on note, so they do not die?

HAVING TO UNEQUIP VIBRO KNUCKLES IS STUPID ANYWAY YOU LOOK AT IT
