Thread: Too many tkm
Im a tkm on naritus and I have been one for about a month and half. After the last patch I started to notice the amount of tkm around now i notice there are alot of them. Everyone and their brother is a teras kasi master hehe its funny. The point of this post is....is naritus the only server like this or are there others?
The last patch amped the heck out of TKAs, people are just following the "nerf/juice" trend jumping ship from the professions getting gutted and heading for the professions the Devs are making attractive. All the servers are following this trend. The devs seem more interested in just shifting the player concentrations between the professions than actually trying to balance them. They'll juice rifleman or something next and nerf TKA and you'll be back to being the faithful and rare.
I kinda get the feeling the devs just juice and nerf depending on what movies they're watching at the time...so as soon as they put down the Jet Li flicks and pick up Enemy at the Gate and Sniper we'll see a huge boost in riflemen, or The Last Samurai is coming out...get ready for a bunch of swordsmen.

That would be cool, now all I have to do is slip in a movie like ER and balance out Bio Engineers...

Where as documentaries for Al Qaeda would be good for Combat Medics.. *cough*....
As one who currently has both MCH and TKM, I can tell you TKM is easily MORE powerful than MCH, paired with the correct sub-profession.
After this latest CH nerf, it should be incredibly more powerful. Get ready to see a lot more TKMs and hope to God they don't nerf that, too.

I do not have alot of room to speak, since I have been working on TKN on and off for a while now. But I finally made TKN last week.
But, I wonder if people are flocking to TKM because it is actually WORKING properly. I know that sounds strange, but you all know what it feels like to have to spend xp on boxes that mean nothing just to get "Master (insert profession here)".
Personally I get goosebumps everytime I see that I have qualled for a new TKA skill. It's really a joy to know that I have earned something new instead of "Oh look more wasted time!".
I realize that there are a ton of people out there that concentrate on nothing more that being able to solo everything in the game. So they jump from profession to profession hoping find that ultimate kick butt combo inorder to gloat about Owning us all.
Just have faith that they will follow another carrot as soon as the devs FIX (not nerf) other professions.
Let the Dabblers dabble to thier hearts content, ignore the grinders grinding. Enjoy the fact that the Uber l33t people still wonder how on earth you incapped them, even though they were less than 5m away from you the whole time!
