Thread: Defensive Acuity and TKA CoB
Opponent attacks TKA. Opponent succesfully "hits" TKA. TKA rolls to see if they make a "save" (the game handles all "rolls"). If the roll is succesful then another roll occurs to see if the TKA Dodges, Blocks or Counterattacks.
- Defensive Acuity Has No Counterpart and Therefore Does Not Stack.
- Ranged and Melee Defense Stacks up to +125.
- Defense Versus States Does Stack.
- Dodge, Block, and Counterattack are Tied to The Weapon You are Using, and Therefore Do Not Benefit TKs.

So does this mean that TKAs have their own dodge, block and counterattack stats? And that if you have dodge from fencer or counterattack from swordsman, it doesnt do anything to upgrade your acuity? If they are tied to the weapon you are using, howcome I dodge, block and counterattack with my TKM ? There is something contradictory in that FAQ!

If they are tied to the weapon you are using, howcome I dodge, block and counterattack with my TKM ? - Because Defensive Acuity gives you a chance to do one of the three, and Defensive Acuity is tied to Unarmed and VKs.
There is something contradictory in that FAQ! - Nope, afraid not.
There has been a large misconception about what Defensive Acuity actually does, and many still believe that Dodge, Block, and Counterattack do indeed help, so I'm not surprised the TK who taught you thought the same. Glad to have helped clarify for you though
