Katarn Knuckles
Attack Speed: 2.14
Modified Speed: 1.38
Damage: 410-767
7% Speed Slice
Necroisis Nightblade
Attack Speed: 2.31
Modified Speed: 1.49

14% Damage Slice
So which is better?

The SACs are as follows:
Katarn: 75
Nightblade: 81
6 point difference, that's not that big of a deal is it?

If remember correctly, right now your Nec blade is better, but in publish 18 we are supposed to get the elemental damage. Katarns have some sort of elemental and I do not believe the necs do. I could be wrong.

Night Blades are... +10 dmg and +10 speed.... and 81 SAC is still good. although for a TKA being "natural" looking, the has more RP potenial. I personally am TKM/Pikeman, and i just use the Kaminoan Great Staff lol.

Well for one, your katarn got 7% speed slice while your nightblade recieved a 14% damage slice. That alone is difference between the two. As it stands the unarmed damage mod on the nightblade doesnt work with the nightblade or your total damage if your not just simply using unarmed.

I've been bouncing around with my offensives I'm a trimaster (TK, Fencer, Sword) I love having my defenses at 310 melee, 245 ranged but thats only when I'm in TK mode. These new weapons would allow me to use TK as offensive again but are they really back to the once great damage of pre CU? also can you tell me how to get the nightblade, I'm at the Kill 26 ferral wookies part of Katarn and need a group to help me out.

I set up shop at the first feral wookie spawn after burst running past the first four spiders. It's boring sitting there in one spot but certainly a lot easier than tempting fate again by burst running past the next sets of spiders.

I, too am at the 24 feral wookies stage. I have 14, been incapped three times and looking for vengeance. On a side note, are the mystingars we went through before getting to the wookies the ones we will have to kill next? Tthey didn't seem like that much of a challenge.

my nightblade does more damage than my knuckles....only just though. 1137 damage (with advanced armor break) vs 1067 (with advanced armor break).
EDIT: both unsliced.
