Hello,
Yes, that's right, I got a holocron and was told to master TKA. I think i'm the first to get that from a holocron... although I wouldn't doubt if there were others. I'm very excited because most people get stupid master dancer or others... Anyway... just thought I'd post. If you have any suggestions or comments, feel free to make your mark here!

Well I too was told to become a master Teras Kasi Artist by my holocron......
I am actually pretty excited about it as TKM was next on my list to try, was just having a hard time giving up my hard earned BH xp...but I have an excuse now...
FYI for all who care to know..
I started as a Scout/Marksman, and was currently a 0/4/4/4 BH, 2/2/00 CH, and 0/0/3/0 medic when i used my holocron....never had any brawler skills at all......
Goodbye BH .... TKM here i come (am on unarmed 4 ugh) grind grind grind.......been spending alotta time on my back these days....and never thought i'd say to myself that butterflies give good xp lol......

What kind of holocron did you guys have?
I've heard that same rumor......although i believe there are circumstances that have negated it...but not mine..

Just wanted to poke my head in too.
Got my Jedi Holocron last night and was told to become a Master TK also.
I for one am fairly excited to start working on this. TK is the one combat profession I haven't tried, with the exception of the Unarmed Master requirement for Commando. Of course that was just a two day go kill bantha fest, so that doesn't really count.
My plan so far is to get to Dant or Dath, use my pets for crowd control and beat up on some of those big mobs that spawn 6 per lair. I'm thinking about doing the trees in this order: Power - Meditative - Balance. Luckily I've got enough combat xp left over to get myself halfway into Striking 3, which should help a bit.
With my comp armor and finding a doctor to buff me up, this looks like a very fun class.
Gonna be great to go from the 2.5x melee damage at Commando to some very nice melee defense mod.
Anyhow, I can hardly wait to be the galaxies shortest twi-lek TK Master.
I thought they were both Jedi Holocrons, just one was Sith (dark jedi) or not.

No problem. It's kind of a confusing thing actually.

According to canon, the Sith aren't Jedi at all. A Sith may be a fallen or dark Jedi, like Vader, but not all Sith are fallen Jedi. I don't think Darth Maul, for instance, was ever a Jedi. The whole thing is super detailed and I'm sure many people could explain it better than me. But regardless, Sith does not automatically equal Dark Jedi. 
There are actually 'Tool Holocrons' also, those, iirc those are the ones that turned into shards with the new patch. 
I don't think they exist anymore and they probably never had any real use.
Oh yeah, also I've heard deep in the SWG files, the program refers to the blue holocrons as'Jedi Holocron' so thats why most people don't just call them 'Holocrons'.
Can you tell I want to get out of work and start whooping some unarmed butt?
